Whoa, the visuals are stunning, controls tight, nice story, good humor, sound is calming...this is so well done, very impressive. Good job
Extremaly polished game the art style is really cool the sounds fit well. It feels really professional
This is incredibly beautiful! I enjoyed every bit of the visuals, cutscenes were well done, backgrounds are just amazing, the choice of colors and its uses worked out well and the shading adds a lot to the environment. The tasks were pretty simple but honestly I didn't mind doing them if it meant to go back to certain places just so I can look at the environment again. The audio is also amazing, really adds a lot to the game and the ambience is super relaxing! I see a lot of potential on this game if it ever becomes bigger. Incredible job!
This is a really beautiful game, I did not expect to get so deep into mushroom lore so fast
the UI is stunning, as are all the little details in the background such as the shooting star etc.
nice to see the use of glow to create atmosphere like that
the sound design and music are really well done, giving lots of holoknight/ori vibes
really impressive that you put this together do fast
well done folks
I love the visuals, and the sound. The little mushroom people was a fun idea. I really enjoyed the atmosphere you created, and think it could be a nice little game if you take it further. That said, I wasn't a huge fan of the game-play itself. It got kind of repetitive. But overall, I enjoyed it. If you keep working on it you could have a pretty solid game.
Amazing visuals and music! The gameplay itself wasnt very interesting, wouldve liked to see some harder platforming and it felt too short but it was very pretty! Did you use anything other than the particle system and URP for the effects?
It's clear that the two of you know what you're doing, the visuals were stunning and the music/sound design was phenomenal. I think I had the most fun using the small incline on the right of the main map to launch myself into the air when I was sprinting and really enjoyed once I got the double jump and dash sprint. At the moment something's missing for me but its hard to put my finger on. It might have been that I wanted more visual story-telling, the art was soooooo good I wanted more of it so the exposition in the dialogue almost got in the way. I think the dialogue worked well for you when you needed to communicate what I was supposed to do or when it was funny/entertaining (the mush-room line made me laugh) but I think some of the lore could be communicated in small visual details you build into the world that the watchful player picks up on and pieces together. And while exploring I think I wanted more things to find like a house or a graveyard or a watchtower or an animal burrow (maybe an animal is a cool opportunity for conflict if you're looking for it), but I only wanted more because you did such a good job delivering what we did get.
Really really great job! If you have the time I would really appreciate some feedback on my game, having "E" appear when you approach a character is something I think I could use
Wow thanks, that's awesome!!
We worked on multiple projects together so our teamwork is just.. 🔥
Vincent did all the sound effects and music and you're right, it's phenomenal!! He did such a good job with the lore/dialogue too
Also I'm really glad you liked the art, it's the result of years of trying! (I did the backgrounds and characters and stephy did some beautiful totems and pickables)
I understand what you're saying about something missing, we planned for a bigger scope but had to remove stuff with the limited time:/
I agree with you about the lore that could be found by exploring, I wish we could've done that!
I'm a bit fried for now but I'll definitely play your game tomorrow!! Thanks again for you feedback, it's super kind of you
Very good artstyle and really well made! I was amusing myself the heck out with dash and double-jump ability and yeeeting myself in outer space XD (as I imagine, it's some standard collision-based bug, please left it in the game, it's so much fun).
Thank you for the game <3
Thanks a lot!:)
If you want to really go to outer space I'll reveal a secret. Press Tab + E to unlock my dev console and then press tab again to open it. Then you can activate godMode.
Have fun!
Disclaimer to everyone reading this: you may broke and destroy the game totally, it's definitely not intended to be played that way! Try to finish the game first
very cool
you're very cool
I enjoyed this game. it had a nice feel to it and has the potential to be a fun metroidvania with more content. keep going with this one it was great. I did manage to get myself stuck during a npc conversation. I was talking then was frozen to that place after dialog was skipped. I really liked the art for this game. Great job ,Thanks
Thank you for your kind words!
I'm so sorry about that bug, I know about it but I'm not able to reproduce it
I'm glad you still managed to have fun:)
The graphic and artstyle is really enjoyable! Sound design is also nice. Good game!
Thanks for playing :)
This game has a really nice art style. I particularly liked for the environment, while the characters were cool they did feel a little out of place against it.
At first I couldn't figure out how to get the dash ability to work then realised that it was a power up.
Some quality puns left me wanting spore (see what I did there?). I want to hear the crude ones from the note haha
Overall this was an enjoyable game, well polished for the time we had and I would have quite happily played another few levels.
That's awesome, I'm glad you liked it! And I agree with you, there's mushroom for improvement so your feedback is very appreciated:)
