Delightfully unsettling at first and then steadily more and more horrifying. I especially love how the extended results table makes it, for lack of better words, immeasurably horrifying.

I’m not sure I got the message (a pun). To me it looks a lot more like a normal existential dread rather than something incomprehensible. I think I really missed a bit more of a mystic nature, or maybe a deeper emotion behind it.

Maybe playing with different but equally useless outcomes of a roll could be more interesting. Maybe a responsibility, a heavy burden or at least something that will be an incentive to do the rolls. Or the inability to escape to do the rolls.

I have to admit it is a simple idea, but man is it effective, and did it fill me with the dread of cosmic horror. Do our messages hold any meaning? Will they last? Even if we make a choice is there anything after this life? Infinity is beyond our understanding. The act of a human no matter how big or small will vanish into nothingness compared to the scale of eternity.

I feel the idea of this game captures the feel of cosmic horror in a nutshell.

shame the extended results only go to 5,000. what happens on the 5,001st roll? seems like that could be an important one!

Here, I'll give you an extra one, free of charge!

5001: A leaf moved. You saw it. It surely couldn't have been the wind.

I knew it! I AM. A GOD

Very simple concept, but its interesting. Is it even possible to begin with? At which point will it be done, how much more effort, sacrifice, is needed to achieve it? And when that happens, what will even be what you obtain from it?
