Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • Controls and timing design were really balanced enough to make it challenging and interesting enough. Like if the alligator wasn't there it would be not as challenging or fun.
  • Really cute art and music that fit with the feel of the game well! Lots of opportunities to expand this mechanically in the future. Great progression of difficulty in the levels.
  • Extremely well polished game with a great concept. The level design is also great, pretty straightforward but the different mechanics keep it interesting.
  • I really like the mechanic of the moving platforms, seems like a perfect combo of puzzle and fun!

How does the game fit into the theme?
Stopping is not an option. The frog must constantly move forward, avoiding obstacles and using its tongue to propel itself, while a hungry crocodile relentlessly pursues it.

What premade assets did you use if any?
Some sound effects from Freesound.org
Crocodile Sprite and Water Shader.

What are the Discord usernames of everyone on your team?

Nice complete game. So polished that at first glance it's hard to believe it was made for a game jam. But I'd rather think it was made by a master :) Good luck with your projects!

Great work! The mechanics felt super smooth. I also made a 2D platformer where a nerd faces gym chaos—hope you check it out!

It's really hard (or I just suck). And In my opinion this game deserve to win (This is the third game that I'm viewing so i don't know the ohters)

I think this is my favorite entry so far!

Very nice polish, very nice music, very nice flow. The mechanics are easy to understand and restarting a level is quick and feels great.

Very very very good job on that one!

Very fun and frantic! The little effects you added to everything really make a big difference. I think the the last couple levels could have been rearranged in difficulty a little bit, but other than that, fantastic work!
