Pretty good concept and scope. No real information regarding production plan or aesthetics so I can't properly rate those. Looking forward to seeing what you do.

How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
Hello, you start from an empty island that you colonize with houses, coal mine and a power plant that works with the coal (You cut the forest to have an empty place to do that). That gives you electricity to power the houses and pollution points. You will progress in the game by building solar panels to have the electricity needed without need of coal, planting a new forest to have less pollution points . The goal is to have enough houses and solar electricity for all your citizens at the end of the game before the coal mine depleted. Your score will be probably determined in part by your pollution points at the end of the game. I am not an English native so sorry for my bad English.
Use of Theme / Inspiration
The theme drives me to the strategy game genre that's not what I play a lot. I never tried to create one before. The jam format will force me to go to the roots of a strategy/Simulation game.
