  • I can see this game evolving into something really special as the initial concept has bags of potential. For example, I think the story could evolve to be more complex. When I played I imagined the iceberg being large in size, ample food resources being available, seals etc all there and his family. As the game progresses, the iceberg could shrink and food availability could become more scarce etc, seals and family leave, and this could link with the narrative more strongly. This would also increase the complexity involved with balancing the need for food with eating and thinking (i.e., timings would decrease and it would become more difficult to keep the polar bear alive). The effects of climate change are captured in the 'think'  (e.g., one day this iceberg will not exist) element and it would be great  if there were explanatory notes to explain 'why' this is happening (maybe a find out more button for educational value). Anthropomorphising the bear was brilliant and what a tear jerker! I felt a lot of empathy with the bear.

  • Good writing and the mood you set was just right. Perhaps the pacing could be adjusted a little to speed things up?

  • The art work is great. clever interactions between the bear and the environment. I think the educational value is somewhat lacking at this point though.

Hmm unfortunately this asks for admin permissions when I try to run it on Windows. Do you have a stand-alone version I could try?
