Really well made entry! I included it in my compilation video series for the Clicker Jam Spring, if you’d like to check it out. :)
Witcher from the world of clickers!
while the costs are very clear, the results/rewards aren't. its easy to tell from a glance what i'm going to be spending when I click a button, but I have to read small text and interpret the text into the different icons to figure out what the return is. apart from that, the progression feels great. maybe just a slower introduction to the different upgrades. maybe like 1 to 2 at a time. feels pretty overwhelming when first starting
Good balancing of currencies. Nice scaling - just allows tier-access without maxing out the former tier, and just valuable enough entries that sometimes it's worth going back and maxing out things you left behind. Great use of audio, best I've seen in the jam. Good tension throughout with the escalating costs and the slowly, SLOWLY diminishing threat level. The choice to never have auto-mineral gain was inspired. A clear endgoal without blatant progression steps from the beginning, so we know what we're doing, that there will be a win/lose condition, and still get the joy of discovery.
And I like that in the end I've got a bunch of monkeys on the internet. Because of course I'm not getting rid of the internet!
I'm only about halfway through the entries, but this is my Pick Of The Jam so far.
Muy lindo diseño y muy buena variacion de aspectos para mejorar en el mundo, me diverti. Felicitaciones!
Some really good ideas
Great art, great design, and great music/sound effects. This is a really solid clicker game. I liked the balance of multiple currencies. This felt quite polished and pretty in-depth. Awesome work!
