Make a game and raise money for charity!

This game jam aims to be a fun and relaxed month-long jam, where you'll not only receive the many benefits of game jamming itself, but also get to help some kids in the process.

And even if you can't develop games, you'll be able to help out through a $20 charity bundle made from all the entries in the jam.

The Charity

All proceeds will go towards a children's charity (exact charity to be confirmed).

How It Works

▶ $20 entrance fee per game submission, donated to the charity.
Allows your game to be included in the Charity Game Jam Bundle PLUS a chance to win a prize from our $200 prize pool!
You will also get access to the charity bundle.

▶ All games will be collected into a $20 charity bundle, which can be pre-ordered here.
The bundle may also include art assets and some other high-profile indie games!

We believe that this approach will allow us to raise a significant amount of money for the charity.

Discord & Twitter

Come join the official Discord server, because game jams are more fun when there's a community.

Follow the official Twitter account @CharityGameJam and make your tweets with the hashtag #CharityGameJam :)

If you have any questions you can tweet @XavierEkkel or @McFunkypants.

None (just have fun)! Feel free to post your progress on Twitter, in the community forums, and the Discord server!

There will be optional diversifiers (design or other constraints) announced when the jam begins, for those seeking some extra challenge or inspiration!

We have a prize pool of games worth over $200 in total, which will be randomly awarded to participants!

If you would like to contribute to this prize pool (whether it's a game, game assets, or anything else you think our participants would like), please please tweet or email Xavier.

If interested in streaming/making videos for games from this jam, please tweet or email Xavier.
