Nice idea! Maybe it's just me but I didn't quite get the ending... The art was good, though it could've had a  higher resolution. Allowing the player to click the dialogues through would improve this a lot.

loved the art!

I really liked the art of this game, but I didn't find it very enjoyable. It's just that I don't like games of this type. Anyway, the audio was missing and that left me with a bitter taste while playing. I am not asking for music, but only for sound effects. They could have been added. The art was very good though.

Developer(+1)

Yeah we really wanted to add sound effects but a few bugs at the end just took away our time so we couldn't get them in

Submitted(+1)

At first I thought my eyes were messing with me... This game caught me off guard XD

Well done, I liked the effort placed in building up the characterse!

Developer

Haha sorry about that. You can actually turn the scan lines off in the settings so that it was more readable if people needed. The characters were a lot of fun to work on so I'm glad you liked them. Thanks for playing

Submitted(+1)

No no, not the scan lines! I'm talking about the... transformations... O_o spoopy

Cool game! Reminded me of 'Her Story' a tiny bit :) Audio didn't work for me, but I'm guessing it's not that bad so I didn't rate low :D

Developer(+1)

Yeah we has audio ready to go and just ran out of time. Her Story was one of our inspirations for this so I'm glad that came across. :)

(+1)

Nice, very well done

Submitted(+1)

It's kind of a shame that there is no audio. I also couldn't close the clipboard, but you already knew about that issue. Though, it is nice that the scanlines can be disabled ;-).

Developer(+1)

We actually had some audio clips ready and ran out of time to put them in. Yes we wanted to make sure it was readable for people over everything else.

Interesting Idea.  I couldn't play the WebGL version due to an issue with not seeing the mouse cursor but the .exe worked. It looks like it took a lot of efforts to make. I like it.

Developer

Thanks for playing, sorry to hear you had issues with the mouse, thanks for letting us know

Really cool design with the TV and the video taps.  It was fun watching through them all, real cool ideas here!  Keep up the good work. Please check out my game when you have time~ good day!

Developer

Thanks very much for your feedback

Heh, this kind of felt like a modern take on Ellery Queen (an old mystery detective book series) - not sure why... Great idea with the video playback! Hope you work on it more after the jam to add the sound and VO would be extra cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much. We are both doing some other stuff (TwoWorms is already doing another game jam the mad fool) but we fully intend to fix this game up and add some sounds and some improved animations and stuff.

I really liked the idea of a detective game, but I was a little disappointed that all of the choices had the same result, so you can't find out who actually committed the crime. I'm guessing that's why the game is a lie, but having no objective made me feel like it wasn't really a game. I do love the art and the idea though, great job!

Developer

There should be several different endings depending on which options you pick, though the artwork is unfortunately the same for each pick as we didn't have time to put more than just that one image in. :( I'm glad you liked the idea, though. :) We really like the mechanic, and want to do something 'proper' with it sometime soon. :)

Developer

Yeah as Worms said there are different endings although they are purposely vague. i assure you though it is possible to figure it out. :)

Great graphics and ambiance ! The video are fun to watch. Also good idea for the settings, that allow us to adapt the speed as we wish ! The game design is kinda simple but efficient. For the innovation, I think it's a bit too simple...

Also I couldn't use the clip board properly I don't know why but the check box didn't had any text at all... I May change my grade if you help me with that !

I'm sorry about that, it's a bug that creeped up on us in our last build and we didn't get time to fix it.

The order on the board is Figg, Harrigton, McClaw, Scud

Original Design but without sound the game is a bit annoying.

Developer(+1)

We had sound clips to put in but ran out of time. Hopefully after the jam we can patch it

Submitted(+1)

Okay, I understand

Developer

Yeah, we just completely ran out of time on it, unfortunately. :( Reel Life(tm) got in the way, as it's wont to do, though TBH I'm more annoyed about the bloody clipboard bugs which snuck in there right in time for the last build. >.<

We're going to take the base idea and build it into something proper over the next couple of months, with full voice-acting, variations, clips, and (slightly) fewer-janky transitions between the character states. :p

I'd like to see how it turned out.
