Good game son, but song in this game is one gigantic fail.

Considering it's your first game, you nailed most of the stuff pretty good! Thanks for writing the "warnings" and "tips" at the beginning, they let us know what to expect. Loved the uplifting air shafts, and the messages you collect (consider a fade for the sound change there, it changes very suddenly). Always test test test and make sure the controls are working 99% before you move on to advanced functions and level design :) Good luck in making games! Your 11 yo sister is talented, encourage her, and make her feel that her art is beautiful <3

Thanks for the nicest comment so far! I was acctually planing on adding a fade but it was a tight scedule for the first time. I had to learn a lot other things so I could at least have a finished product in time. And do not worry, I will make sure to encourige my sis as much as I can! :)

I know the deadlines are kind of short, and we usually tend to overcomplicate things, just know, that these jams are amazing opportunities to push yourself more and more every time, learning something new, and producing better and better games every time :) I'm the most creative in these jams, under deadlines, so far. Can't get the same level of excitement without a deadline lol

Very impressed with the artwork. Consistent and pretty.

Not so impressed with the design and the execution. Your game isn't difficult. Your input system is inconsistent. Sometimes, when you press jump, it doesn't happen. Did you put your input inside the FixedUpdate() loop? Because that would explain why sometimes jumps aren't coming out. Further, when you miss a jump, and inevitably fall, you can fall as far down as the beginning of the level. It's not difficult to get back up. It's boring. The second time this happened, I stopped playing.

The music sounds like a collection of randomly placed notes. It produces a dissonant melody that's difficult to stomach over time.

It's a good effort for two young people, but you have a long ways to go.

I am very greatful for detailed and specific critique of my game. Especialy thanks for the advice with the Fixed update, it bothered me for a longer time. I will take all given flaws and try to reduce them as much as I can in the next game. There just was not enough time to finish and polish the game with my current skillset because I had to learn total basics while I was developing the game.

No checkpoint system really hurt me in this game.. Also I don't get how it fits with the theme of lying..

Great job on creating it though! I'd love if you checked out my game and let me know what you think! :D

Oh such a cute game! Not easy, but 100% cute. Kept me glued to the computer for much too long - in a good way! Going to have to play it again, later.
