Very good game. I liked the mechanic.

I think it could be better if you add sound effects and music. Maybe after the jam ;)

Thanks!
Yes, sound will be my top priorities for the next jam, I definitely messed up on this one ^^"

Short and sweet!  Clever switching mechanic.  Charming art style and animations.  Enjoyed and rated!

Thanks for playing!

I'm afraid I was unable to play past the first couple of levels as I'm on a laptop so I can't use the mouse and keys at the same time but I like the concept of this game a lot.

I felt like the character was too slidey though as when I got the cookie in level 1 I slid off the platform of level 2 without pressing anything so, even though there was no in-game consequence, it was a death that I had no control over. I also think you really needed to add coyote time as that would help the player at least mitigate sliding off platforms somewhat.

Hello! :D I had so much fun playing your game! The concept is really creative and the little creatures are adorable! I especially like how the ending of the game loops back to the start menu, I thought that was a nice touch :) Amazing job ~ Keep up the good work!

A very fun game. I really love how after switching the scenery and creatures looks like. Great idea!

I enjoyed the game and i really like the concept!I really Iiked the art Just  suggestion that some music would've helped the experience be better though..

I love the mechanic and how you implemented it!

the game has amazing art. It's pretty unfortunate that I didn't hear anything. But I liked the game. Short and upto the point, like all jam games should be.

Nice game! I found it in a comment of other game. I liked the mechanic, because makes the game tricky. Despite the short duration and the absence of music/sfx, i enjoyed playing it. Good Job!

Loved this game! You should be very proud.

Some critical feedback:

  1. You need menu hover feedback for any mouse-based input.
  2. Onboarding needed for controls. Fine for a game jam, where people expect WSAD. But never assume your player knows how to play your game.
  3. SFX/music would be good, though you must just not have had enough time.

This is a great entry!

That is surely a weird game. I liked the idea of it. The art is good and the levels are difficult enough to be enjoyable. However, the lack of SFX is a bit dissapointing, hope you have time next time. Also, movement feels a bit forced.

Decent game overall for a Game Jam :)

Really liked the mechanics and the art of the game. Great Job!

Very cute and compact little game!

My only criticism would be that the platforming physics felt off. Falling too fast compared to the slow ascend in the jump.

But very cool concept! I liked it

Love the game - the concept and the art were especially good :)

For this jam there are a lot of platformers submitted in which you use the mouse to reveal hidden obstacles. You did something some what similar, but made it your own; which is great. The thing is, it's too difficult (for me) to jump space, move with A or D and click the mouse all roughly at the same time. Perhaps you can do a key configuration like move with A and D, jump with W or J and toggle the light with K. Also, music is nice; but sound is essential! Great art, though ;-).

Developer

Thank you for the great feebacks !
A lot of people told me the same about the difficult controls, this is something I will definitely have to rething to make the experience more confortable for the player.
I agree with you, the lack of sounds is a big cons, I should have thing about it in the early stages, time just catch me up on this one...
Thanks for playing !

I really enyoed the art and your implementation of the theme.

Good Job :)

Thank you Yso ;)

The art are really nice. The game concept is sweet.

I would prefer to have the light switch on the keyboard.
I am playing on portable computer, it was my main problem.

PS: At least one level can be complete without switching the light.

Developer(+1)

I will definitely be more aware about the controls next time!

Thanks for the feedbacks !

P.S : probably level 3 with the racoon's platform ^^" my bad :p

Absolutely incredible! The art is delightful to look at, and the mechanics were new and interesting. Hard to believe only one person made all this in a week. Great job!

Nice Idea! Like the visual stile, really cute guys! IMO, controls could be better - a bit too hard personally for me.

Developer

Thanks for playing, will definitely dig into the controls issues. That is a good feeback to get

Cheers !

Love the graphics!  What does the purple raccoon do?  He is super cute haha.  Game fits the theme really well, nice job!

Developer

The Racoon were at first suppose to be the "tutorial" part of the game, unfortunatly, I didn't had enough time, so since I draw it, I just let it here as part of the environment xD

Thanks for playing ! I loved your game
