Potential spoilers ahead!

We played your game as a group of three. Really enjoyed the writing, but got a stuck for fifteen minutes on finding the rock. We liked the twist that you were the troll instead, and it felt slightly meta (in a good way). Quite enjoyed finding the bottle, but the chances of seeing it randomly glint were a little remote.

The apple/apples distinction tripped us up. We couldn't get more apples when we already had the one, so had to drop it and head back.

All in all, quite enjoyed the game, thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. :)

Any issues with the apples seem to be a result of something I tweaked yesterday. As with the versions previous to that, the latest update shouldn't have that problem.

I think the rock puzzle is quite fair, but it does seem to be the main place people get stuck so I've added a timed hint that will display should players end up wandering about too long in the second half of the game.

Those sound like excellent changes!

I think for us the problem was not seeing the 'stones' description, combined with having a heavy object (the shovel) to break the lock.

I shall have to play again to see if those changes fixed the issue :)

Played this through and enjoyed it. Distinctive visuals and another easy introduction into text adventures. One of the puzzles was unique as far as I can tell and also enjoyed the reverse roles of the cave guard. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the kind comments, Rich. I'm glad you got some enjoyment from, what was a quick jam game.
