- learn how2door ( maybe even do fancy stuff like show that the door is locked
- fix the hidin under desk thing
- ajust the shader (make a slider in option if i can, if not just cut in half the opacity of screen effect)
- add more models, sounds, music, and stuff to make game pretty

not on any priority but ill make em alongside
- send it in compress folder to avoid problems related to .rar files
- make a hud with useful intel, like how many statues you destroy, status of a room, a clock and other visual guides

It took me a hot second to realize there were instructions. :P I did have some fun, and I was pretty impressed at how in-depth the game was and the environment and visual effect. I didn't end up completing the game--I found it pretty confusing and lacking in feedback--but I am impressed that you made this in one week!

Good job!

The theme is definitely there, I like the darkness. Like someone else said, while cool, the visual filter can make it a little too tough to see things.

As far as gameplay, I knew I had to destroy totems, but the tips and notes were very confusing to read and for that reason, I didn't really know how anything worked. Getting the writing here cleaned up and making things a bit more clear would do wonders for playability. On my first playthrough I was sitting in the camera room and lost for seemingly no reason. On the second, I walked to all the rooms and there were no totems.

You've got the visual design down for sure! Just a few kinks in the gameplay and writing department to iron out that could bring this game to the next level.

Very confusing, but clearly working hard towards the theme

You can right click > send to > compressed folder and not package it in a .rar file. I can't open without downloading another program. Just put it in a .zip file in the file explorer.

that was a trick i didnt know about
since junior/middle school when i have to do some homework on pc and send it via email to a teacher or send inside a pen drive, i could aways count on simply usin wirar for that, so it fly over my head that .rar may not be a good file format

The visual filter can be difficult to look through, and the game DEFINITELY needs some proofreading. Additionally, the game was just really confusing overall. I had no idea what you were meant to do, really. Hitting the player with all the rules right off the bat isn’t a great design decision imo - it would be better to introduce them one by one and let the player get used to them gradually. As it is, it’s too confusing to make any sense.

It is definitely scary, and I do like the grungy visual style. The notes/rules hint at some cool game mechanics, but I wasn't quite able to really discover them while playing due to some buggy doors (I didn't even realize I could leavy my room because the door wouldn't open the first time I played :)

i swear first time i did doors with phisics in unreal they work wonders, just move trought them and they rotate
somehow, following the same tutorial, they got really janky to...

Theme: Hard to say, game very buggy

Fun: Not intuitive, too many rules to remeber and kind of visually confusing (the screen was covered in a very scratched/dirty lens texture)

Game Design: Very buggy, don't know what's happening most of the time. I couldn't really get into the game because of that. Tried it 3 times, of which one crashed, one I died without explanation, and third nothing was happening for a very long while.
