I loved it. The colors and the game play were excellent. It was challenging enough that I had plenty trouble figuring out what to do but it was still enjoyable.Though, I don't understand how the game fits the theme and I think it would had been more easy to grasp if the game had quick levels with learning curve.
Here's my entry, if you'd like to take a look! ツ https://itch.io/jam/byog/rate/1681794
Incredibly fun gameplay - struggled a bit at first, but was very satisfying once I got the hang of it. Loved the idea of bouncing off sound platforms and killing the robots with them as well. The level design and execution made it a fun challenge, and it felt so good to beat the last section - though like others have mentioned a more gradual difficulty curve initially would have helped.
The animations, atmosphere, and sound/music all came together really well, as well as the quirky narrative intro. Would love more levels, but for the scope this is a neat package :)
Apart from the ‘sound’ reference, not sure how this fits the theme exactly, though?
Love the art of the game, sound come after 10 second of start of the game. jump distance is very much at start, I tried 10 times. do check out my game
I was jumping on the bombs explosions, taken me while to figure out how to jump but yes It was quite the fun, Amazing game.
Cute aesthetics, and really love the subtle volumetric lighting.
The gameplay is fun, but I think I sweated a little.
Pretty cool concept! The aesthetics and vibes are perfect. a bit challenging in the beginning, but I kind of like the difficulty, reminds me of the contra games.
Nice game. If the intro section was a bit more forgiving I would have really enjoyed it. The concept is very cool though
Thank you for playing my game :3
Love the aesthetic and game idea! The music fits perfectly.
The colour scheme and art is really wonderful.
The only complaint is that it is a steep learning curve, but fun to play if you can work it out.
Thanks alot Jane! Ahaha I totally get what you mean by the learning curve, making the player have more control over the boom box throws might have been the way to go :3 thank you for giving my game a try!
