Io e Leonardo stiamo scrivendo un gioco ispirato alla raccolta di articoli di cronaca nera scritti da Buzzati. Il gioco per ora si chiama Ombre e questa è la premessa:
Milano, secondo dopoguerra. Un delitto è stato appena commesso e l’opinione pubblica incalza affinché si arrivi in fretta al termine delle indagini. In una stanza spoglia e illuminata da una singola lampadina siedono due persone: chi indaga e chi racconta. La prima fa parte della polizia ed è stata incaricata del caso, mentre la seconda segue le indagini per conto del giornale per cui lavora. In diversi momenti e luoghi, chi indaga e chi racconta si incontreranno per scambiarsi idee e pareri sul delitto, mentre l’indagine poliziesca e quella giornalistica vengono messe lentamente a parte di una terribile e sconvolgente verità.
Aggiorneremo questo post non appena avremo le idee più chiare, ma possiamo già anticiparvi che per giocare è necessario avere un mazzo di carte milanesi (o francesi, con qualche accorgimento).
I and Leonardo are writing a game inspired by the collection of crime news articles written by Buzzati. The game is called Shadows and this is the premise:
Milan, after the Second World War. A crime has just been committed and public opinion is pressing for a quick conclusion to the investigation. In a bare room lit by a single light bulb sit two persons: who investigates and who narrates. The former is a member of the police force and has been assigned to the case, while the latter is following the investigation on behalf of the newspaper they works for. At different times and in different places, who investigates and who narrates meet to exchange ideas and opinions about the crime, while the police investigation and the journalistic one are slowly brought together to discover a terrible and shocking truth.
We will update this post as soon as we will have clearer ideas, but we can already tell you that to play the game you need a deck of Milanese cards (or French ones, with some tricks).
