Cool game with cool visuals :) gameplay was also good but the first part was better for me. Curious to see the further improvements that you gonna make! Gave you a nice rating! If you like to check out our game too! :)
Really nice graphics and presentation, unfortunately I couldn't play because you can't right and left click at the same time on a notebook, more button variety would have been nice. But I can see it being a nice game, would love to try it again after the Jam is over.
Thank you! I understand, I also had to connect a mouse to my laptop for development :) I've already planned to improve this game, so there will be more convenient controls, more weapons, and more levels
Wall-bouncing bullets was super fun!! I also soft-locked myself from the terminal and it was very easy to get hung up on the rocks that get formed when it would make narrow passages. Loved the visuals and the walk cycle for the player. Very cool design. The reflective helmet looked so cool! Great work
Thank you! I'm glad you appreciated it, it means a lot to me!
congrats on finishing the jam! cool graphics, cool audio! had a lot of fun shooting the nicely bouncing bullets, until i realized i had locked myself out from the terminal! aka: good theme usage! GREAT job!!
Thank you, I did my best! :]
Lovely art style and nice concept with consequences. Took some fiddeling around with the controls (that's on me though) for me, but eventually I got hang of it I think. Good job!
No, no, the control issues are my fault. But I didn't have time to debug everything. Overall, I did it in 2-3 days (damn job takes all my time :D). Thank you so much for the nice feedback, it's very motivating!
Great take on consequences! And a really neat take on the art direction.
Thank you, bro, I really appreciate it!
Very cool idea for the consequences! I love the enemies, you managed to make them endearing and creepy at the same time. I was so tense for the last level, because I didn't want to block myself in, haha.
My main point of critique would be, that it is more of a puzzle than a bullet hell game.
Thank you for the feedback! I generally understand what you mean. I tried to mix new genres with the existing ones to create something new :)
Nice game! The music and art style gave me a Stranger Things vibe. By the way, I noticed that I can clip out of the walls by using a huge amount of bullets. I believe that you can fix this by making the projectiles disappear without spawning the crystal static object if they didn't kill an enemy, or by making the crystal objects dynamic so they get shattered if the player collides with them.
Overall, it's a nice game with a great concept. Keep going mate!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm sure there are still some bugs, and overall, it would be cool to turn them into exploits :D
After playing a while, I understand unnecessary shooting is a nice way to use the theme… Love it!!!
Thanks! This could have been understood faster, but I didn't make a tutorial lol :D
Some spooky enemy design
Once I figured out how to play, it was a great game. The instruction said "approach the terminal" but I had no idea where it was. I had to read your comment to know that "timer" is actually the terminal.
My bad, I totally agree that the tutorial is terrible (it's nonexistent).
Thank you for the nice feedback, I really appreciate it!
I appreciate it being a 3D game, most submissions are 2D so it's a refreshing change. This was one of the most interesting games I've played from the submissions too as far as the consequences theme goes - having the projectiles cause damage to the environment and limit your possible paths was creative! I had a mild bit of anxiety on the last level, trying to anticipate which of those pods the next infected was going to burst out of!
Thank you for the high rating, I really appreciate it! To be honest, I don't know how to work with 2D at all, so I always choose 3D games in any situation.
Love the zombie vibe, really nailed it with the music and top-down 3d art! I learned to shoot carefully and not too much to prevent soft locking myself haha. Good job!
Thank you for the feedback, I worked really hard to create the right atmosphere :)
Okey...the thing is i literally instantly block myself at the start of the game and i was laughing because of that. "Yeah...that was my consequence" :D
Really good vibe for the game - mutans/zombies it's definietly my type.
Also i liked the visuals, game was sometimes a bit "tricky" because of collisions -> but it's definietly for me. Good job!
Thank you! I'm glad you got exactly the experience I wanted to convey.
I liked the overall ambience of the game. The enemies gave me nice space zombie vides á la Dead space or system shock.
Some feedback:
A bit frustrating when you accidentally lock yourself into a corner when the enemies explode/turn into a pillar in an unexpected place. It would have been nice to have some way of restarting the current level so you don't have to reload the game (or wait for it to time out?) when you get stuck
I never really figured out how to open up the path to the next level, some times it was open and sometimes not.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the game doesn't have a tutorial, my bad! But I'll try to address these issues: you can restart the level through the menu, which can be accessed by pressing Tab. And the door opens when you approach the counter at the beginning of the level after you have killed all the enemies.
Really nice! Love that there are so many physics-based objects
Thanks! I wanted it to be fun, and what could be more fun than destroying things :D
Very interesting concept, a bit janky collisions.
Oh, I entirely blocked myself in this ice things. I don't know what is the purpose of the game, didn't have fun from playing it :/ How to win? I killed all infected and what then. The timer stopped and I didn't know what to do so I spammed shotting and blocked myself
Hi! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to create a tutorial in the game. After you have killed everyone, you need to go to the terminal at the beginning of the level to open the second door. The possibility of locking yourself in is an interpretation of the game jam theme, otherwise it would just be a shooter, right?
