I enjoyed it! The sketchy art style is quite nice. I'm too bad a bullet hell player to have completed it, but I thought the different systems at play with the colours and level adjustments were quite interesting.
A few of the sound effects were maybe a bit too loud (Boss warning and player death, I think), but other than that everything seems quite polished! Well done!
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it.
Your feedback about the sound is appreciated, it's certainly something we're not in ease with both on a technical level (last dev day was fixing sfx bugs) and on a what-volume-to-put-for-each-thing-level so any comment about volumes which feels wrong is useful for our future games.
I can definitely relate, tweaking sound volumes and generally sound-related programming (like how to prevent stacking sounds) is a big issue for me as well! Unfortunately I don't really have much experience in getting it right, either. I basically just try to err on the side of sounds being more quiet in my games, which I think isn't the optimal way to go!
It wasn't a big deal in your game either way, so no worries!
Smooth controls and intense action make for an exhilarating experience! Well done!
Thanks!
Plays extremely well and has a robust an easy to learn control scheme. I gotta say, when the level said I won't be seeing much, I probably should have taken that as a warning for how messy it would get! Fun game!
Thanks, I am glad you like it.
Hello! seems nice and the comments says its good, im not ableto play it cause a mayor bugs keepme like this image
I have a clue, it might be that you did not unzip the folder and tried to launch it directly from inside the zip, I tried and the result seems to be exactly that.
This game is pretty awesome. I really like the art stye actually, and the music really fits it well. There a lot to love here, and you've put together a really interesting game. I love the little changes that happen during boss battles like the screen getting smaller. Such a unique game for sure.
I will say that it was a lot of information thrown at me and I found it difficult to understand what was happening. Like it changed my bullet color or even limited some colors from time to time and I wasn't exactly sure why.
But anyway, overall this game is amazing! Good job :)
Thanks a lot, I'm very happy you like it.
This is certainly one of the most ambitious game here, tbh. The game itself is fun as hell and the artstyle is super unique. I really love all the ideas, mechanics and gimmicks this game brings to the table and it's also extremelly cool the game always stays fresh everytime with something new.

But holy shit, this game ramps up WAY too high WAY too fast man. First off that we already begin the game having all the 6 colors to keep switching up, wich mind you, is quite a lot of stuff to digest by itself already, but the game barely gives you any time to get used to the controls and already throws in enemies of 3 different colors + screen sabotaging right off the bat as the very first thing you fight, wich was just a super overwhelming first impression. I need to say, the first few attempts at playing this were extremelly painful because of this lack of easing the player in.
The double colors are also never explained properly, or at least not that I noticed, since the help bars at the side are also kind of a mess, I have to admit, so I was also very confused about them for a long time. Not to mention I also took a huge lot to notice my ammo counters, and even that I had ammo at all, I simply had no idea why my colors were changing suddenly, I legit tought the game may have been bugged at that time.
All the gimmicks are really fun, yes, but honestly, the first level shouldn't have had any kind of them, it should have focused fully on the color mechanics alone due to their already inherent complexity, introducing enemies of different colors one at a time, and only after that you start throwing the curve balls. You can't spice things up before the player even knows what is going to spiced after all.
That aside, once I got a little more confident with the controls, on the first run I killed the frog mini-boss I already managed to go all the way up to the final boss and I admit my heart was racing with every new gimmick, it was really just pure epicness throught and throught x)
Altought during the final boss I just gave up onto switching colors, as I said I never actually had the time to properly master that, so it was still too overwhelming to keep thinking about it while being constantly bombarded with a lot of shit.
I still died to the final boss, but I got a spot on the leaderboard. I have no idea if it is online or not, but in case it is I'm AAA because I had no clue how to change the letters and I submitted it like that by accident :P
Thanks a lot, I'm glad you eventually enjoyed the game, it would indeed benefit from a Level 0.
The leaderboard is not online (typing letters should change them but you can't go back once you typed one).
This game has so much charm! Love how much variety there is in the waves, bosses, and all the ways you mess with the player (opening up with "I can't see shit" was hilarious and also very true)
You really dug into the bug theming for the game and the art style + music go together nicely. Great game
Thanks, these ways of messing with the player were fun to make, I'm happy you think they're also fun to deal with as a player.
