Love the art style. The concept of being stuck in a fish-tank-cage-match really does fit the theme well. I did feel like some of the fights had a bit too much health, but overall great entry.

The art is wonderful! One of the best parts of the game! I think with more polish this would have been a very amazing game! A little more music and a bit more level progression and the game could be elevated quite a lot!
Thank you!! Appreciate the kind words about the art, it means the world to me. There were definitely plans that were unmade by time getting away from us, but we plan on whipping it into shape and rereleasing it as a more complete experience in the near future :D
I was blown away by the visuals and animations in the game. the punching felt great but I thought the shooting was a bit weak. Overall, a nice and fun experience :)

Incredibly well done and polished, the visuals are top notch (and so is the audio), overall pretty fun game to play. I also thought the first boss was harder than the second. Oh, and the character design is amazing, I love it. Great job!

yeah sorry about that xD got the basic enemies working way to late and crammed them in without a lot of game balance, since I wanted to show off the cool animations we had!
Really cool looking art style. The first boss was way more difficult then the second one. I would have liked to have more feedback on the puffer fishs spike phase because I first thought we would be invincible during it and he would stop at some point.

There are definitely some concepts and ideas we had that we ran out of time before we could implement, and that was definitely one of them haha. We're hoping to flesh out the game further after the judging period for the jam is over!

(first web browser didn't play Audio, but Firefox did, and i'm glad I went back to replay with sound, as it added so much more to it :P)
Great sound and SFX with this, matched in with the style of the piece nicely :)
Animations and visual were amazing, and brought together well.
Took a bit during the first game to work out who i was :P, and get into it. Perhaps could have done with levels, building up from just fighting the clams, to adding in the other fish, finishing with the rumble with loads and the big puffer boss. I liked the extra big puff up and spike attack, that was a lot of fun.

The art style is TOP NOTCH. Very well done and the two bosses are so cool, although the octopus could use more attacks. Nonetheless, this is very well done, awesome game!
Eyyyy thanks so much for your kind words!! I made some frames for a tentacle stab, and we had some ideas for a more complex set of patterns for Octoboss, but time got away from us. We are planning on updating the game and fleshing it out. That will definitely be high on the list :)
Oh, that music gets you PUMPED UP. Boxer lobster with laser eyes? I'm here for it! The game suffers a bit from "what in the world am I doing"-syndrome where it would have helped if elements were introduced a bit more gradually, and a smaller player hitbox to make dodging various projectiles easier to accomplish. The health bar felt more like a time limit for time left alive, in places. But! I still enjoyed my time haphazardly punching at all sealife in this tank. Good work!

We definitely had planned to have levels, as well as other mechanics and behaviors in the boss fights, but ran out of time. If you're at all interested, we can even notify you in the future when we release a more refined version of this game!
