Breaking the Waves is back for a second round. Breaking the Waves is a game jam from WWF Pakistan and Games London.
Breaking the Waves will take place:
Breaking the Waves invites game developers, designers, artists, and writers of any skill level to create games highlighting women's critical role in conserving the Indus Delta ecosystem.
The Indus Delta is one of the most significant deltaic ecosystems in the world, home to unique species of flora and fauna. However, climate change, unsustainable agricultural practices, and human activities have endangered the ecosystem, negatively impacting communities' livelihoods in the delta.
Women in the Indus Delta play a crucial role in environmental conservation, but their work often goes unnoticed. Breaking the Waves aims to shine a light on their efforts and create an engaging and interactive experience that raises awareness about the importance of their work.
This game jam aims to raise awareness of the issue through the lens of amazing and novel games developed by jammers across the globe.
Breaking the Waves is supported by the British Council.
