The minigames are something new to the visual novel genre. That's a solid 5/5.
This kicks ass, I really had to check my ego! Nice work getting those minigames in. Great spin on the theme too. I want to play a full version of this game now!

this game really makes me feel like I was a divorced dad. really nice. The shoot'em up section really caught me off guard.
Nice Game! I really enjoyed the narrative side of the game! Though it was sometimes hard to read the dialogue while playing - especially during the bullet hell mini game. Another minor thing you could change next time is to use your own UI-Sprites, the unity ones are known best for looking pretty, but rather for placeholder, but overall, this was a solid game!

I don't know much about dating sims, but found it absolutely hilarious that the dialogue for "tell me about yourself, Duncan" just goes right on by at the bottom of the screen while you're trying to survive a bullet hell at the top right that's influencing the relatability of what you say. I was laughing so hard I probably woke the neighbors up.
When I saw it was a dating sim with minigames, I kinda figured it'd work like the fishing one or the QTEs do - time would pause while you "decided" on your next response by succeeding or failing. The fact that it didn't remain that way was just so good. The loop of "mess up the minigame, look to see what hilarious thing you just said, mess up the minigame because you were reading, look to see..." etc. was very enjoyable even though it made me lose.
The only thing I gave this game low marks for was the theme tie - I see it, but it's not strong.

I was sceptical at first, but the mini games kept me playing. I love how they are incorporated into the dialogue, although some times dialogue appears as I'm playing a mini game and I'm not able to focus on both at the same time. Other than that a very fun game!
