How does your game fit the theme?
When Kelpie dies, she becomes a ghost and goes back to the last checkpoint. As a ghost, her abilities are different so the "end" of her life turns into a new beginning. She can revive by touching her corpse.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Mostly. All assets are original, including music. Other than that, I used a public general purpose library I've been developing for the past few years, but all specific code for this game was written from scratch. Also, I used some free fonts.

This was super cool! The spritework is amazing (the level select screen art is very Sonic) and the gameplay feels really clean. The only two criticisms I have are that the movement of the ghost to the nearest checkpoint when you "die" is a touch slow, and I think it would be good to indicate more clearly that the ghost can interact with buttons by pressing space. Those two small things aside though, this was really good!
Wow this is actually a unique mechanic. After you died you can your ghost form to do to solve the puzzle. I love the art and music. The music is really good and well integrate to the game. Please check out my game too.
Great game. The graphics look stunning and machanics are realy cool. the puzzles are also hard so that it makes it a chalenge but not to hard that they are impossible.

Really cool use of the theme. I liked solving the puzzles as a ghost to progress. Forced death is always fun. I did run into one bug when playing with a controller. The left joystick didn't allow for up and down movement, but the Dpad worked so no harm no foul. Great job!

Interesting concept! I kept falling through platforms though and that doesn't seem like it should be happening.
I just figured out why haha, yeah it shouldn't be happening at all. But it was a misunderstanding I had with Unity's physics system which caused specific colliders to behave incorrectly. Unfortunately since we're during ratings I can't fix it rn but oh well! Thanks for playing

Pretty nice overall but those collisions are really weird. I try to jump at the platform that is little above me and instead of landing on it I fall through and then die on spikes.
Yes! I've noticed that after building the game for web. For some reasons I don't yet understand fully, the physics system (it's a custom built one) doesn't work the same as during play time inside Unity. I have to check that out.

Another thing, You have rated my game as well. Im personally really bad at pixel art and making music... Im only good at making gameplay and was hoping you might want to team up for a fun boss rush game im having some trouble making due to having to copy almost all art and music.
Great game, great music, great art, but i thought the levels were a little too chaotic and hard to know where to go. Other than that great game.
Great game with beautiful art and music, the first time Kelpie "died" I had a WOW moment. With a bit more polish on the platforms and more levels I could see this become a full game. Congrats!
