How does your game fit the theme?
every time the player dies, the level resets and gives the player a new ability or improves on one they have already unlocked.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did not. most code was written by me. I used spaceSkiesFree for the skybox, stylizer for the dithering effect, and terrain textures & brushes from unitys terrain pack. music was taken from Abstraction - Three Red Hearts (Prepare to Dev).

You nailed the aesthetic, but the amount of stuff on screen did make it hard to read sometimes. Depth perception was also a problem, but overall, good game!
thanks mate! yeah, could have done with a bit more play testing on this! think theres a lot of minor tweeks that could have been made that would have made it much more fun and less frustrating, but hey ho, it's a learning experience :)
I really like the aesthetic you've put together! I feel like the shooting upgrade wasn't as useful as it could have been. And the ship seemed to 'pull' in specific directions at times - probably the way the camera was moving/framing the ship was part of that. Great work putting this together!
WOW! The artstyle is incredible! The game brings me back to the early 2000s, playing arcade games like this. It's incredibly cozy and nice, and the twist with the theme works quite nicely. I don't know if cubes were supposed to fall out of the sky or meteorites, but heck, it works :) Overall, nice experience, with more types of debris, maybe an ability to shoot, this could be turned into something awesome!
Art direction for this one was amazing, I really liked the colors and the explosions, really good job
It was a really hard to finish because I could not see from exactly the shots were coming
Also, check out my game, thanks!!
thanks, yeah I think i should have slowed the enemy bullets down and made aiming easier for the player, so aim and shoot with the mouse. hey ho - thanks for playing, I'll check yours out :)
The game's graphics looks sick! I enjoyed it. Took me 13 iterations to beat the game, almost quit midway due to how little my decision making process helps with actually avoiding things. Indicators would help a lot with depth perception. Not gonna talk much about the UI bug thing and the stat scaling thing because we already talked on stream. Would love to see this game being made more accessible, and I think it would be a great game machine in an arcade, where you shoot meteors and turrets.
I love the gameart, the mix of the different colour fits perfect! Please rate my game too:]
Nicely done! Someone has been clearly working hard!
I like the mixture of blue and red idk why
good game bro
