Cool interpretation of the theme.

I like the retro look. This fits very well with the nature of the game. The sprites have a really nice style

The only thing that irritated me is that you could not shoot from time to time.

Nice concept and really polished :). I really enjoyed the upgrade system and the different types of enemies. I don't really have any feedback, great work!

Really nice game!

Very polished entry with great animations and juice.

The text in the upgrade screen was a bit difficult to read though.

Had lots of fun playing this! Well done.

Fun game. It looks very polished and the idea is nice and fits the theme quite good. Movement controls felt good and the upgrades are unique and nice

Some feedback:

  • The white text on the cyan/blue background of the upgrades is not very readable. (But I can manage)
  • Is there a way in which you can see which upgrades you have, or which upgrades you take to the next iteration?
  • It feels a bit strange that the ship pauses shooting bullets after some time while holding space.

Overall pretty nice game though, well done :^}

Hi, artist here! Thanks a lot for mentioning these issues, we'll add them to our to-do list!

Regarding the bullets, it was mentioned that it was a reload function. We could make an indicator for that, but in order to be much clearer to the player, it should be pointed out within the tutorial scene.

Again, thank you for the feedback, and I hope you enjoyed our little game!

Such a polished game, really love the way you guys did the tutorial at the start and the animations!
