Really good looking and sounding game excellent work on that front! The writing is super engaging, loved all the effort you all put into each character and story element. This could definitely be a publishable game with a little bit of polish!

Only thing that threw me off was how the text boxes for the ghost people functioned. If two ghosts stack on top of each other the game doesn't know which one to show making it hard to read. I also had trouble reading through all of the text when the ghost would move and the text box would go away. Maybe just change it to a click ghost to focus in on, ghost text box appears, click off box to close it or something like that rather than the hover.

Excellent work!

Super cute! Had some issues with the paper flipping up and down way to fast and often sometimes though

The art is beautiful, the concept is good, reminds me of "papers please". Sadly, the ghost's papers are hard to read as other people mentioned it.
I like the visual novel style, but would have loved to see more outcomes from the decisions you take, it seemed inconsequential.

Really interesting game. The art and music is really cool! There a big issue about the paper disapearing every time a ghost move, that sometime make the game unplayabale

Awesome art.

Nice work with the art and animations. Shame that it has issues with the papers popping in and out.

Awesome art and sound design! This game is really polished!

Nice game, it would be better if the paper didn't disappear frequently.

I really liked the game, but as someone already mentioned, the papers constantly open and close, which makes it a little bit hard to play.

Amazing artstyle and finally, someone with an Audio slider :D. Sadly, the pages were a bit buggy and did close a lot of the time instantly.

Interesting take on the theme. I'd advise to make text bigger and making the soul under the cursor stop or somehow make their life text hover on the screen because there is a constant battle for reading the story while souls wiggle and make it harder. I also didn't understand fully by what standards player judges souls? There are a lot of religious frameworks and it would be interesting to see different world views represented. Like ancient Greek goes to 'heaven' for something Christian person would go to hell, etc.

The game is fun, but it was hard to play, the papers would constantly open and close.

Had a lot of fun! I really like the concept of post-death looking like an office job and you implemented it well.  The music is also nice and fitting. The bugs you listed were annoying and I also think that the ghost shouldn't move while I check their files. But that's just some small issues, keep it up :)

We had not thought of the negative consequences our game might had on players. Thank you for your word of caution.

Very impressive visual design. Buggy user controls. Not sure if this was intentional, but the ghost wiggling didn't stop on mouse-over, making it nearly impossible to fully read a soul's backstory.

This was a really interesting Jam entry. There were some issues where it was difficult to read what people had done because the scroll would flip up and down constantly, but the art, theme, concept, and sound were all great. Nice work!

Your idea is really fun, and the art and music are both really good! I did run into a bug when trying to read the in-game letters, which was a bit annoying, but overall you did a great job on the game.

Amazing Story, Graphics and Audio! Love it! Though, the game is at some points way too inconvinient:

- The informations about the souls is in my opinion way to small

- It is hard to read it, as it keeps closing itself, which is why i'ts way too hard to read.

That's why the game gets in the most categories good ratings, but not in game design, but overall, great game!

The story is so amazing and developed! It is quite rare on the game jams. Visuals and music are also nice. Soul card bug is quite annoying and distracts from the reading but otherwise than that it is a great entry!
