How does your game fit the theme?
This game is a die and retry. You can kill your character using the R key and use it to reach higher places.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything myself from scratch, except for the bonus secret ending, that contains assets that I made before the jam, but it's just a bonus and it's not really an important part of the game.

The concept is really cool, but unfortunately your platforming was pretty clunky. I think there could have been more checkpoints and more precise movement, because I constantly felt myself having to go super long walks, only to die, go back again and place a mushroom, then go all the way back again to jump there. For the most part though the game is really creative and also looks and sounds pretty nice.

Developer

I think that there is just enough checkpoints! I don’t really see the point of adding even more because there are no consequences to death in this game, you don’t lose any points and there is no game over either. Thank you for playing!

Really love the idea, game is really simple but it was so fun. (just found 4 banana :( )

Developer

thank you!

Cool Game! I liked the puzzles and the gameplay, the movement is good and the collisions are fair, very fun indeed, just one thing in your math puzzle...  I don't think it's a good idea to call people stupid in-game over an ambiguous operation.

Developer

thank you!I chose this problem because it is known that some calculators have trouble solving it because of the way they work! You had to use your brain :)

Loved bouncing on the dead mushroom. Might have been a little easier if I could place several. Great game!

Developer

thank you!

The using your body as a stepping stone is an interesting and cool mechanic, the game itself was kind of difficult for me.

Developer

Thank you!

I found this game really fun! The mechanic of using the dead mushroom to jump is really interesting and well utilized in the level design. I found the game a bit too hard, but it was still hugely enjoyable!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The game is hard on purpose, but I’m glad you enjoyed it anyway :)

great game! Some background music would really improve the audio and the jump felt a bit floaty though.

Developer

Thank you! I may add BGM in the future.

interesting take on the theme

Developer

thanks!

Nice game. I like the idea of using the previous mushroom for jumping higher.

Developer

thank you!

Nice take on the theme, this was a lot of fun to play.   The controls were a little floaty but still overall a great job!

Developer

thank you :)

Dying mushroom mechanic works for the theme! Good pixel art on the tiles! I like the edutainment moment with the maths. I got the spikes, not the banana, of course. :-) I think the game works as it is, but you could add some pixel detail to the main character, maybe an intro to set a narrative, and finally, remove/replace the jump sound when the mushroom is swimming.

Thank you! I will add things after the jam!

Nice game, difficult but some nice hidden puzzles! I loved the bounce mechanic on previous bodies, but want a little more out of when or how many bodies are placed.

Got through the 3 levels, but didn't get all them 'naners yet.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game entirely! Good luck with those bananas…

Fun game. The concept is interesting but I wish I could leave more bodies than just one. Also, I died multiple times in the air and the body just left airborne. Art style and sfx are great!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I chose to allow only one corpse to avoid making the game too simple. If I release a sequel I will make sure to increase the limit as the levels go on.

Realy nice controlls, the only thing I would fix are the floating dead mushrooms, when you die while jumping up on another mushroom. Great game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! actually I should have added some physics for that, but I realized that a bit late and it required me to rewrite too many things! Maybe I’ll patch it if I release a post-jam version.

Cool simple platformer, I love how it fits the theme. But I have one question: why maths…? WHY…

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I like maths xD

I actually REALLY love this game! Everything from the art style, to the controls, to the sfx, to the mechanics, it was SO FUN!! You did an amazing job, this is actually my favorite submission :)

Developer

Wow, thank you very much! :)

Good platformer with nice death/trampoline mechanic.  I liked how you had the 'old man' there to teach you as you go.  Map designs were well though out.  Character controls were nice, sometimes these platformers feel too 'slippery', this one felt great.

Developer

Thank you, I spent a lot of time tweaking the controls!

looool we had the exact same idea, but we executed it in different way, anyway your game feels good to play, and nice idea!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! Mushrooms ;)

This is a fun and pretty well made puzzle platformer. I am really not good at playing platformers, but I did still have fun trying this game. Well done.

Thank you!
