How does your game fit the theme?
Well I didn't finish on time but the idea was to sacrifice your life to protect a seed and when the character loses all health they will be reborn as the seed continuing the cycle.

I still submitted as it was a good learning experience for my 1st game jam and next time time I can definitely say I'll do better.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all code and art are made by me.

This was a great game for your first jam! I really liked the concept good job!

honestly the concept is gorgeous, I think with more work and polish this could turn into a great game, for the main concept has a lot of potential, the narrative could be quite poetical indeed, so great work!

p.s  can I steal your Idea?   :)

Looking forward to seeing it completed :)

Sorry you weren't able to finish on time! For what its worth I think the art is gorgeous and I wish I could draw something like that. The color pallet choice is very nice and it seems like you had an intresting idea. Good luck on your next game jam!

Thank you, it was actually my first time doing animation but I was unfamiliar with unity's animator system and I guess I got more than I bargained for.
If you're interested in the palette it's called Resurrect 64 created by Kerrie Lake.

Sounds like a fun idea. Nice art as well. Good luck next time!

It’s unfortunate that you could not finish it in time, but I hope you continue working on this project and finish it someday—best of luck.
