How does your game fit the theme?
The idea of a journey through the afterlife and passing through a portal to a new realm fits the "the end is the new beginning" theme by portraying the idea of death and rebirth. The trials and challenges that the main character must overcome in the afterlife represent the difficulties and struggles that we encounter in life, and the idea of being reborn with new abilities and insights after each failure represents the idea of starting anew after facing and overcoming challenges. The portal guardian and the challenges that the character must face to pass through the portal represent the final test and the end of one phase of the character's journey, with the portal representing a new beginning in a realm beyond our current understanding. Overall, the concept of passing through a portal to a new realm after facing challenges and overcoming obstacles embodies the "the end is the new beginning" theme by symbolizing the cyclical nature of life and the idea that every ending is the beginning of something new.

Interesting story and cool story telling for me
Here my game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1931702
Pretty interesting game, I got to "The void" and the game restart, I don't know if that's supposed to happen, , the game gives me a cool vibe of mystery and make me want to know more about this, would be interesting with an expanded story, good job!
Hi, the game crashes sometimes, but overall solid submission :)
thanks
Interesting story! I liked it! The storytelling could be improved though. I would love to see more of this! :D
Thanks :)
