How does you game fit the theme?
You are a combat medic saving fallen soldiers left alone to die on the battlefield

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, we used assets that were purchased. The audio is licensed through zapsplat. The code we did write ourselves however, this was our first project.

I am very impressed that the game runs smoothly on the browser and that you can go to a lot of places in the city. The idea is also very cool and the gameplay is fun. Finding people and healing them feels good. Great job!

Thank you for playing our game Henrique, we appreciate the positive feedback!

Getting a 3D game made in the course of a week-long jam, and one that actually makes use of 3D with multi story buildings, is quite a feat. It did its job well as an exploration game, and I'm not sure if the assets were already laid out in the town's structure or if you did the level design as part of the jam, but it was well suited for exploration. Having four actions and being told to apply one or a couple to each soldier as you find them felt like it didn't really add much, and it might have been fine to just find soldiers and press Space or something to automatically do whatever's necessary, but if you plan to expand the game post-jam I could certainly see minigames for each of the ways you need to help the soldiers being fun.

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! We had a level design guy work on laying out the models of a pre-purchased asset pack (it was his first time ever doing level design so I'm sure he will be happy to hear)

As for the healing of varying types of soldiers unfortunately that was all we were able to program in such a short time. Definitely we are planning to expand on the concept going forward with production.

Thank you again for playing our game!

Game Graphics is good

Good original concept that shows another side of the 2nd world war!

I am very surprised to see what you are able to do through the browser! It is very beautiful and well done!

Unfortunately I didn't get any sound, is it a problem on my side or you didn't have the time to implement it?

In any case very nice work!

Developer

Thank you for trying our game!
Unfortunately, this was our first time working with sound design so the audio is there but it's incredibly quiet at runtime.
Definitely something we will work on going forward with production!

A very cool and interesting simulator game

Pros: unique take on the concept, surprising amount of polish, pretty cool mechanics

Cons: takes a bit long to reach each soldier and for the sake of a jam the goal could have maybe been 10 instead of 15, the settings button doesn't do anything, I encountered bugs where a soldier was too close to a door and couldn't be interacted with

Overall really cool take on the whole thing

Developer

Thank you for the critical review!

Ideally, the game would be ongoing versus round-based. But for the sake of the jam, we had a timer for a closed gameplay loop. As for the menu, we had to cut that short as we very quickly ran out of time and put our attention elsewhere.

We’re glad you enjoyed our little prototype! It was a concept we were very passionate about and hope to take it further.

This is one of the most unique games of this jam. the concept is simple, but almost everything works well. Controls are fine, audio is good, the map is impressive. it is quite hard though, on my second try I only managed to heal 7/15 soldiers, but I could be faster for sure. I read this is your first project, congrats then, nice start.

Thank you for taking the time to play our game. We appreciate the feedback, it seems like after a few of our own playtests 5 minutes is often too short to finish an entire round so we couldn't agree more.

Looking forward to trying your game as well.

Looks good. However the movement I didn't like at all. It could have used some audio other than the subtle sound by the tank. And a few issues with gameplay but over all still a nice short game to play.

Hey, appreciate the feedback!

We will definitely go back and review our movement controls with a little more time to playtest hopefully we can get it right!

Thanks for playing our game. I am looking forward to trying yours as well.

Nice game and graphics. Good job!

The map's really good but the switching items and applying seems a little glitchy, I kept having to run back and forth for it to recognise it could apply it. Also when I first ran to the second guy I was like "You again‽" XD

Developer

Haha, yeah we have a few glitches to iron out. I really appreciate you giving our game a chance though! Thank you so much for the feedback.

Really nice sound and graphics. And of course the idea

Good game, I found it hard to read the text at the beginning, but it may have to do with my screen resolution. I enjoyed the art and level design. Keep it up

Developer

Appreciate the feedback, our level designer will be happy to hear that! Thank you for playing our game.
