Lack of coyote time makes the parkour sections frustrating. I missed few holes because they were almost the same color as the normal dirt. The combat against the other player is very hard as it follows you very fast and you cant avoid the attacks.
Although I disagree with your points regarding the background art (in 2D games, darker backgrounds indicate depth) and the difficulty (it's meant to be a bit hard, hence the game has many checkpoints), I have never heard of the concept of coyote time before. I googled about it and got really surprised with the results, so thank you for introducing me to it!
Fun and the You totally need to fine tune platforming and jumps
Fun game, looks nice aswell, I like this style.
I expected the enemies to go back a bit when they get hit, but I actually liked that they didn't, because it added some difficulty to a usually easy fighting adventure type of game.

To be completely honest with you, I was expecting a low effort game.
I'm glad to be wrong ! :D Storytelling is nice, music is really close to what you would hear in the original game, it fits the theme, really cool stuff :)
On bug I noticed is that zombies fall veeeeery slowly x)
