All code was made by us but some assets were made using generators.

Impressive work for a game jam! Graphics were great, despite being made using generators. Music and sound effects were nice. Overall atmosphere was excellent and seemed quite polished. Game play was good, although the control was a little bit tricky. Fuel forces the player to keep exploring.
One minor thing was the ship was a little jittery, especially when the mouse was close to it.

Not at all. It was highly enjoyable. I just felt I needed to provide some criticism, however minor. I wouldn't want people to think I'm just trying to suck up to others in return for good ratings. ;)

I always wanted to make a game like this, flying to space and visiting other planets in 2D. It was too much work and you did it in one week. Impressive.
Great work and art. With some more polishing this could go in the direction of Black Skylands or a 2D Elite clone (with trade and stuff). Very entertaining!

Yeah this survival type of game is something we have always wanted to make and with this space adventure game we tried to perfect the basic minimum before the end of the week to give a good exeperience and we are most likely going to continue after and turn it into a full survival space exploration game. very satisfying space shooter. Your art of each planet is great. is there any planet for power up? cos i never found one
Thanks for the kind words and for playing. The planets with yellow ships are vendor planets and if u go up to them u can trade for upgrades etc. everything in the game is random so u may have gotten unlucky . nonetheless thanks for playing

The menu was so cool! The game gives off this super serene athmosphere which is really a treat :) Good job.

The game was pretty good! I got swallowed up by a black hole during my first run, I liked how the bullets curved around it a few times haha. Overall very enjoyable and calm game, however the font choice made it difficult to read. I liked the menu with shooting the asteroid to start, and destroying planets felt nice.
Also, 5 nuggets to get healed is a lot considering the other upgrades for the same price.

The game design was nice and very enjoyable. The enemies could have been a little more difficult. The controls could have been a little better. It was a nice game anyway.
Thank you for the review! we are glad you enjoyed the game and yeah we had some other ideas to supplement the controls like a shield ability but the time we had left unltimately left us without one.
The game felt very polished and was a treat to play
This is a great concept, I love the chill nature of flying through space in this, and all the art is beautiful. I will say that the combat feels a little unsatisfying in that I couldn't find a way to effectively attack enemies while also dodging their fire, even when using the boost. Maybe the enemies could turn slower, giving you a chance to get behind them. Aside from that, a great game. I'd love to see it expanded upon, maybe with a more in-depth trading system, or maybe some aliens that give you missions to complete to get rewards instead of trading.
Sorry, I'm designing my own game at this point. My point is, there's lot's of places you could take this, so I say stick with it.
