How does you game fit the theme?
The crime scene is not real. It is fabricated. Players need to find the truth.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes for all code and artwork, except the music.

The idea is really cute. I also like the mess you create XD
Thanks for playing, Glad you like it.
nice game!
Thanks for playing
I didn't really understand what to do and the movement is quite sluggish. Seems pretty cool though
Thanks for playing and your feedback. I should make a better introduction...
The controls arent working great, and I don't understand what I'm supposed to do
Thanks for playing. You need to draw the detective's attention and lead him to the evidence.
Pretty cool game! The movement was a bit sluggish, but otherwise, great job!
I rated your game. If you have the time, maybe you could rate mine as well? Cheers :)
Thanks for playing and your feedback. Will checkout yours.
Great game. Rated it. The graphics are good and it relates to the theme. Pls check out my game as well if you dont mind - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418152
Thanks for playing. Will checkout yours.
Nice game! Cool visuals :)
Thanks for playing and your feedback.
The cat is adorable, the music was cool.
The cat was a teeny bit too slow, but this could turn into something cool like Sam and Max :D
Thanks for playing and your feedback. Never heard of Sam and Max but definitely will check it out, maybe I was too young lol.
I liked the pixel art. The movement of the cat was a little too slow though.
Thanks for playing. And yes, I heard a lot of people also experience that. Would update it next time.
The art was very cute and well done, but I was confused about how to wake up the detective. Nice little game!
Thanks for playing and your feedback. You need to interact with the environment and draw your detective's attention.
Very reminiscent of some classic 16-bit console adventure games, and I dig it. I've always enjoyed "guide the character to a thing" mechanics, and I think you could do a lot with this. Keep it up!
Thanks for playing and your feedback. I will try improving this game after the jam, so please feel free to watch for any updates in the future.
short but cute.
Thanks for playing :)
This was very interesting! I love the pixel art and also the story!
I just rated your game, maybe you can do the same on mine ^_^
Thanks for playing and your feedback. Will checkout yours later.
Interesting game with a cute idea, I liked that I get to play as a cat. I was not able to inspect objects with the dialogue on and at the same time pressing keyboard buttons did not advance the dialogue which confused me at first but then I realized I have to use the mouse.
Thanks for playing. And yes the dialogue control is kinda meh, thanks for your feedback.
Funny concept. I enjoyed the dialog. The controls for the cat were a bit fiddly.
Thanks for playing and your feedback.
that detective reminds of togomori hes useless
i like the idea of the game but you have to improve the controls cz its a bit slow and make skip for the dialog but overall great job
Thanks for playing and your comment.
Great Game!
Check my game too...
Thanks for playing.
You should improve on the controls...Nice effort.
Thanks for playing and your comment.
I loved the idea of knocking shit off of tables to get a detective to do his job xD. I got stuck on that first level, was unsure what to do other than toss books around.
I'd recommend using a box-collider for the cat instead of a circle collider. That would make the platforms a bit easier to stay on, and you could adjust the box collider's width to be smaller if necessary.
Thanks for playing and really appreciate your comment. I tried using a box collider at first but it seems too easy to bump into the obstacles, maybe I am not doing it right. Maybe I should adjust the ground friction.
Some of the gameplay was a bit strange, and it was hard to know what triggered the detective. Also, it was a bit slow, and the platforming challenges were too hard
Thanks for playing. I should start a mini-tutorial alongside the level. Would definitely take your opinion and fine-tune the control and level design.
