How does you game fit the theme?
The theme for the Brackeys Game Jam was "Its not real." The fight that's happening in the game is on stage and is not (supposed to be) real. You control the actors and make sure that the on-stage fight remains safe and not real.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes! I made all the code myself, as well as the art for the main actors, the arrows, and the arrow targets. The background and the music were taken from google and fesliyanstudios.com.

Rated!, interesting concept!, lacks of player visual cues, but still a good game, nice job making this game, cheers!

also, will you help rate mine too?, I really appreciate every single one! Thanks! XD

Congratulations on finishing your first full game, that's quite a feat already. Personally, I'm not good at this type of game, to tell you something, you could give the player feedback on whether they pressed on time. Nice job.

I absolutely love your take on the theme and I while brainstorming I had a similar idea but instead of actors they were wrestlers because "wrestling is fake" lol. I unfortunately couldn't get fairly far into the game. I will admit this is a bit bias as I'm not generally good at rhythm games to begin with I did think having to control both actors at the same time, especially at the start, was too overwhelming for me. But I do want to say good job for finishing it in time for the jam!

I like the spin on the classic ddr Idea. With a full development cycle with more animations and music this idea would do really well

Nice game! realised pretty late that its a multiplayer game lol

It actually isnt! I thought it would be fun to try and manage both sides at the same time. I got mixed results lol

I loved it! It got pretty hard after a certain point though I kept making a lot of mistakes and it was hard to keep up with all the arrows coming down at different times.   The hand-drawn actors were cute and the rhythm gameplay was fun and a great idea!  Great job!

I like the idea of the dance dance format being used on both sides very nice idea. I think for improvements I would add sound effects to alert the player upon losing health as it was hard to keep track of health while concentrating on both fighters. Other then that fun lil game :)

reminds me of an old game called o2jam! well done on finishing your first game jam! Pixel art was cute!

Very cool implementation on the dance dance format LOL dope animation.

Cool concept and game idea, but sorry to say I'm very bad at playing this ;(

I really enjoy rhythm games, so to see one here is really refreshing. It's a really unique take on the theme too. I wish there could be more feedback when you get a note wrong or right, as sometimes I didn't know. But I still had a lot of fun playing it, good job!

I'm not very great at these games, but it was fun and well made. As pointed out in other comments, some more feedback (screen shake, sound effect, etc) when the player does something right or wrong would go a long way. I'm not sure if there is an ending but if there is, adding your progress (percentage completion) would be a great way to get people to keep trying to get a little bit further. Otherwise, congrats on your first full game! You've done very well.

Bonus points for the Brackeys healthbar asset :D

absolutly fits the theme.

Good Game even if I am really bad at it :P

Fun game! I really liked the idea it was quite creative for the theme. Wish there was more feedback for when you get one right vs wrong, but this was very impresssive for a game jam.

Cool take on a rhythm game! Some parts definitely broke my brain trying to work it out with both my hands haha. I got the end of the song and it kept going, would have been cool to have an ending to show score or something along those lines instead of continuing in silence

Great interpretation. I would like to see more "danceable" songs. Besides that, great entry and congrats on finishing your first game, keep up!!

Very unique interpretation of the theme, but on point. I love the visuals as well. Great work!!
