The story is super cheesy, love it! The graphics and music are cute too. The controls could be better as a platformer. just a bunch of small stuff though. overall, good job!

Loved the little story and “glitch moment” at the beginning, to set up the game. Alas, I haven’t been able to play much because the controls feel finnicky and the screen doesn’t have the “look-ahead” feeling that would help me see what’s coming up. It was very difficult to get far, so I gave up before I even finished the first level. :-(

I’d love to come back and play when the bugs are fixed! Let me know if you’d like my complete notes, especially if you’re considering to continue the development!

Good job on this entry ! :)

I couldn't see much of the right of the screen (about 10%) but I managed to finish the game !
Jumps were a bit inconsistent too, some platforms weren't reachable when we touch them while jumping. I think if you remove the friction, it will fix it.

But overall, it was a nice game, good job ! (°w°)b

Had a lot of fun on the platforming! Music was great and pixel art was good too! Auto-regen was useful for players as well and there was a bit of a story too.

Feel free to rate mine too~

The music was really good and the pixel art was amazing! I love the SFX added, it really feels like a whole game which is great! You did very well.

I would love to have you playing mine too, if you don't mind of course! ^_^

Hey, I just played your game and I really loved it! I have no feedbacks the game looks stunning and perfect to me. Good luck with the jam and please be sure to rate my game.

RATED!, a perfect bundle to a good game, I can see you put a lot of effort on this one, minor nitpick is about the camera, overall, nice job!

also, will you help me rate mine too? I'd really appreciate it if you do, Thanks! :)

I enjoyed the first level but I had to change the resolution/zoom on my browser window a lot to be able to play it!

Game looks great. Consistent art work. Would have been great to see the theme incorporated a bit more in the game play

Parallax backgrounds were great. Player movement and attack was really hard to understand and control. Color theme was right on point!

Submitted(+1)

This was very good! I loved the story, the little blip in the intro was good to keep me hooked on the fact that something isn't how it seems.

Color and art was great! Camera was a bit tough, but something you can definitely fix!

Submitted(+1)

I like the artstyle, but found it too hard because the camera zoom and follow makes it hard to see what's coming up.

I jump on head of my enemy and we fall togother, lol.

In general i die more 20 times in first lvl.

I not understand how end the lvl.

But it was fun.

(Sorry for low english)

Developer

To go to the next level you have to keep walking through it until you reach an npc that takes you to the next. I'm glad you had fun even though you didn't understand how to end the level!

Submitted(+1)

Nice! I reccomend changing resolution to something 800x600 like

Developer

We'll keep that in mind, thanks!

really liked the style of the game!

Because the camera is so close to the knight it is hard to anticipate what is coming up next. If the camera would move with the knight up and down as well, it would have given me a better idea of what is around me. But besides that, very nice game!

And I like the addition of a secret. it gives the game replayability value :)

Thank you for the feedback, we have noticed many people dislike how the camera was made and the Duros will keep that in mind when he codes the next game jam with us. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the game though!

It definitely a great submission and something you can be proud of :)

Nice game!

Thanks

the game couldn't quite scale right to my screen, so this might just be an effect of that, but I felt like this game could benefit from a lookahead camera, because I felt like I didn't have much space to see things coming onto the screen in order to react to them. On that same note, I felt that the character moves a little too fast, and i was just falling off of platforms. But the art and music are nice, and it has a fun retro feel.

Very cool game! Love the nostalgic 8bit style in the graphics along with a really nice soundtrack and sfx as well! I'll be the first to admit I wasn't very good at the game, but the game itself is very cool and fun! I agree that some checkpoints could help, but otherwise I thought y'all did a great job!

Developer

Hi, dan! We appreciate hearing such flattering feedback. We were very proud of the outcome of the game and the feedback that came with it. But there is always your for improvement and there is no perfect game. Thank you for playing!

Nice game, the art is cute. Checkpoints would've been nice throughout the levels. Asside from that, relly cool game :)

Developer

I agree! Checkpoints would be a great addition.
