How does you game fit the theme?
It fits the theme because the narrarator, (The text,) is trying to get you to not do something and forces you to do stuff but his traps and his punishments "Are Not Real" Because you always easily escap.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes! I made all the assets and code by myself. I know I only joined a couple of hours ago when I submit this, but my engine of choice is Scratch and it is really easy to use. So yes, I made everything for the game! :D

Yeah, I made it to where the bad ending is more common lol :P
This game really reminded me of There Is No Game. It might be a bug, but having you download an HTML file to play in your browser added somewhat to the immersion. The only bad thing I could say is that there is no clear indication, in the beginning, you have to press enter, other than that, that's it. It's impressive that you were able to make this in a week, great job!
