How does you game fit the theme?
You can consume the souls of the fake enemies for score, but the real ones are the main threat and will harm you should they get the chance. Banish the real enemies with your shield.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, aside from the font and 2 free FX shaders for Construct 3. All art, code and audio were made by Fatal Exit, completely solo.
