It’s a really well-made game. It may be a common idea, but working on different mechanics and getting to know them is wonderful.
Stuck on Level 9 because I couldn’t jump into this narrow aisle from above, always falling down. It’s good that you have free access to any level.
Really good puzzler/plataformer. The game feels really polished, the art and sounds are really good. I don’t know if it’s just me but the sounds felt like they came out late. Other than that really good job!
oh man! I died 84 times and i think at least 50 was on "frustration" lvl. Phieww that was hard! Fantastic game guys, this is the game it took me longer than any other game on the jam and i also had much fun.. and frustration. Fantastic combination of puzzle and coordination! 5/5 for sure.. thanks guys i hope we'll see new lvls. Cheers! :)
Thanks a lot! Most people don't play through the whole game in game jams. Thanks for taking the time and glad you enjoyed it :) Also sorry for the frustration level. ^^' It was actually the first level we made to test out what was possible with the mechanics we had then. And 84 is pretty good.
PS: There are some bonus levels accessible through the level selector, but we put them there only because we think they are not as good as the main levels.
a really clean and polished game with great level design that explores the mechanics well
You have a game! thats i what i think and congraaaats! I really love it and a lot of funn! Thanks for doit so well.
A little appointment if i can:
- The music volumen is low (and i really miss it)
- And some times the graphics reminds me too much to blinding of isaac
But keep it whit the good thins, you bring me a great time whit a polish and funny game,
Cheers and keep on rolling in the free world!!
Best game of the gamejam so far a lot of thought into the level design, awesome graphics and really inline with the thematic of the game jam. Great job
Please check my game if you have time :)
Good conecpt, and nice level design. I've encountered quite an annoying bug which made me restart the level when I finish it and die a second after it. This shouldn't be too hard to fix, and also didn't break my interest in the game.
Well done!
Very cool game, as you probably already know by now with all of the positive comments. Really like the look of it and you got quite a big amount of levels for a game jam. It was a lot of fun to play through. The tutorial was very well done.
But somehow I managed to miss how I could throw people until level 15. I went back to see where the mechanic was introduced. Apparently in level 7. I managed to finish that level without throwing by jumping and switching to the person on top of the human tower while being in the air and quickly getting off. I used the same method in level 12 and really had the feeling it wasn't the intended way, but I didn't know what else to do. In level 15 finally, this method didn't work anymore because I couldn't get high enough so I went back to game page to look for the controls and that solved my problem.
I also found the jumping a little bit hard at times. The air control wasn't quite there and that made me miss a jump more often than I'd liked.
But overall great game that you can definitely be proud of :)
This is a pretty good one. An impressive number of levels for a game jam. My main feedback though is that the levels can feel a bit tedious or specific. For example, there are a lot of small and somewhat obvious things you have to do to reach the end, and often the levels feel like a collection of those. In puzzles (to me at least), it's generally better to have each level have its own "catch", or "seeming impossibility", and then a solution that communicates an interesting idea that makes you go "ooohhh that was clever". The solutions generally shouldn't depend on new information, but just seeing the given information in a new and interesting way.
That being said, this is still a cool game. Graphics and music set the mood nicely, and it's clear you guys put effort into this. I like how when one character dies they all fall, that's a cute little detail. And it was fun to learn the mechanics and apply them. I also like the fact that the levels teach you the mechanics as you go, rather than just putting text in the description or the start of the game, like a lot of other games.
The gameplay is good but its kind of hard to see the characters.
