In what way does your game fit the theme?
The Second Player (Burning Soul) gives you special abilities.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yup, besides the music, thats from aiva.ai

Straight forward game. I think that the music fit the tone very well. My laptop is kind of crappy, so there where a lot of sudden frame rate spikes resulting in me running straight into spikes and not being able to walk and attack at the same time. Needed a few more retries than usual.
I'd love it if you made a few checkpoints and maybe had the companion a bit earlier/had more tasks before the end, since that part was rather short. Character sprites could use some work, but you probably know that already.
The music works really well here but I think the game is too slow here. I know it's part of the point but I honestly almost gave up after I missed the third button and went back to find it but it takes so long to walk that when you go back for something like a button all the immersion goes away and it gets somewhat boring. I think with some small animations, maybe less buttons or slightly smaller map or slightly faster player and this game could be a lot more accessible and fun!
Thank you For the cool Feedback, youre completely right. I was trying to have a Story too hard so i missed to tune the Gameplay.
The art is really cool and the music works really well! I think the game could benefit from having some animations. I think this would help make the combat feel more responsive.
Pretty interesting. The music and visuals make a pretty unnerving atmosphere. One thing the game lacks in my opinion is some animations, or even the player turning around. Also, the music was only playing in my right headphone, which was a bit annoying. Overall I think you did a good job, especially with the amount of content for 7 days, but you could definitely improve. Good luck!
