Fun game. There is only one of me unfortunately so I was only able to play for a while before it got to tedious controlling both. Cool idea though, good work!

Ya, it's definitely a game for two players. I doubt anyone other than me will beat this game solo.

Nice game! As @23games said, I think it would be easier if the lights were different colors. Other than that - interesting concept, and great job :D

Also, if you could, it would be nice if you can rate my game :)

Good puzzles! Like the concept! I think it would be better if you added different colors to the characters so it is easier to understand.

Developer

Ya, I think that would be cool, I'll definitely think about it if I update this game in the future.

Playing this solo makes my brain hurt in a way I wish more games made my brain hurt. Smart concept and well executed. Great job!

I really like the light mechanic, takes the duplicate players and adds an extra thing to think about, also plays quite smoothly

Really nice game! A bit of music would really add to it. Nonetheless, great work!!!

I like the connection to the theme. The light running out does well to add tensity but also make sense story-wise.

The concept is superbly researched and very well realized! Very understandable, clear and efficient. The player masters the game very quickly and understands the rules in one game.

It makes me laugh because the play of light looks like the game I worked on too ahah! If you are curious you can test it!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Your game looks amazing, I'll definitely check it out.

Great concept, It was fun to control both lights, even though the game is designed for two people. Awesome level design too, Great job!

Very nice idea and fits the theme really well! Using simple graphics and mechanism to reach the gameplay. The level design is interesting also! Even can play with one player just a little bit hard :D.

Fun game! Wish I had someone to play it with, but it’s still fun controlling both lights at once.

Developer

Ya, definitely a game designed for two people. It's technically possible to beat with just one, but I would be surprised if that happens.

While the graphics were basic and audio was nonexistent, the game concept and execution was phenomenal. This truly is a "stronger (brightness) together" game. Really appreciate the polished gameplay, even though the audio and graphics might have been sacrificed. Fantastic game.

Simple concept but well executed. But hthere's still some rome to make it stand out

Cool concept, would be nice if there were some more indicators when the lights are too far away from each other. Missing some “game juice”, which is basically effects, feedback, etc to make the player “feel” their actions.

The first levels could function as a tutorial by showing instructions on screen, the game is basically unplayable without reading the description first, as no controls or gameplay is explained.

Also worth thinking about making a 1 player version where you can switch between the lights, as not everyone has a buddy to play with.

Developer

wait, I could have sworn I put the controls in the description.

Also, some of the levels would be Impossible to beat in a mode like that because you have to move both orbs at the same time to win. You can control them both at the same time with one player using the wasd and arrow keys.

Great concept, really good level design, simple but interesting

I think the connection to the theme is really strong. The core concept is nice and easy, but the game doesn't really communicate that well to the player. I think more feedback is needed. Start the timer when dots are too far apart, shake the screen, do a sound. Anything. The art is minimalistic and works fine, but doors and "pressure plates" should have been more subtle I think, it grabs too much attention away from dying lights that are too far apart. But the overall really cool concept, with some rough edges here and there.

The theme is well "illuminated" :). I think it lacked music but besides that it required me to concentrate and time it well which was fun, the art was also nice and simple.  Good job!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it :D

I do agree on the music note, but I didn't know what music to add so I just left it out.

Love the mechanic and the way the light works!
