Little touching story! The story and the art work are all polished and complete! Although there are some bugs like the characters can stick to the wall, my bf and I really had  a lot of fun playing it! When we fell off we laughed so loudly XD. Thank you for your game it really gave us a happy time!

Really amazing game done by 6th graders, you have a lot ahead of you! The art is really amazing, the music could be improved, there is this game bug, in which you can jump even in air, a begineer's mistake that can be fixed, but not bad at all, really well made for 6th graders.

The storytelling is beautiful, really touching, and I really liked it. The puzzle aspect of the game could definetly be improved. I love the character drawings, they are really well made! Sadly, those were the only parts I liked about the game. They are strong, so can hold the game on their own, but the game could really use a better collision detection and physics system. The characters feel different to control, but I think that Luna feels much more floaty than necessary, rendering it to be hard to complete simple tasks. Other than those complaints, I really love the atmosphere of the game, I think that it could turn out to be an amazing game if worked on better. Great job!

Incredible drawings and storytelling. A game a little sad, but beautiful and fits the jam theme greatly. The story, character design and the way the narrative and tutorial in the beggining of levels are presented is on point. The only problems, I would say, is a little bit of the collisions on walls and jump mechanics. Great game overall.

The game is really cute and I like the story. It controls a bit weird and you stick to walls like crazy. If you fix that you have a solid game. Well done!

It would be cool if you could check out my game too and give it a rating. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/925013

The art is really great! I clicked on this game as soon as i saw the image. Well done!

Good story telling and good level design ideas!

With some improvements this game would even be better, like fix the flappy bird jump or the characters sticking to walls.

Keep on the good work!

For a game made by sixth graders, this game is amazing, and you should be proud of that. Like when I was in sixth grade I didn't know my rights from my lefts.(I still don't, but you know) First of all your artist is amazing! The stuff she's doing in this game is great. The only thing that I don't like is that the characters aren't animated(Like they don't have a walkcycle animation, or a jumping animation ect...), which makes the game not look it's best. The gameplay is basically just a Fireboy and Watergirl clone which is fine(because you might not know the game here it is: https://www.coolmathgames.com/0-fireboy-and-water-girl-in-the-forest-temple) The controls are floaty, and there's a ton of glitches, but that's everyone's first or second game. Overall the game is really good, and you all should be really proud of yourselves!

Great story! Keep it up!

Thanks! I don't know if you know but you can skip the intro if you go into full screen.

I know why it does that, because I've had that problem before. Either you have the canvas that the button is attached, to you either set it to Screen space overlay, or if you set the canvas to follow the camera you didn't set the canvas to scale with screen size, meaning that when the game doesn't go  fullscreen the button is still in the spot it was when the game is fullscreen, which isn't in the frame. I hope this helps!

Developer

Wow! Thanks. So what should I have my canvas set to? Screen space overlay, or something else? Thanks.

It should work if you set it to scale with screen size(it's below screen space overlay)
