Great music to go with the game, the mechanic works well especially with the spiky walls, I love that you can stop them. some of the later levels did get a little tedious when waiting for the rewind to happen.
Here's my review of this game, somewhat divided up according to the rating categories.
The art looks good with the main issue being some inconsistencies such as the levels being pixel art while the player itself is not.
It was fun to play and the level design was interesting with each level being a different challenge.
The game followed the theme well but not in the most innovative way, i can imagine most of the submissions being platformer games with the player having similar abilities.
Included music definitely helped the game quite a bit while the sound effects weren't the greatest.
Overall, the game was exactly what it was described as, a relaxing puzzle platforming game, the gameplay is fun and interesting, making for an overall positive experience.
The level design is pretty good and it was cool to build solutions around the mechanic. Sometimes the blocks got in the way of each other so maybe having it so you can jump through the bottom of the blocks and land on top would have been nice. Overall solid game!
I enjoyed playing the game, although it felt a bit on the short side. The art and music were quite nice.
Only minor complaint I have is that the first spike level and the very last level drag on for quite a while because of the infrastructure you have to build and the time it takes for the player to fully rewind before you get in control again.
Or maybe I'm just bad at building...
Very well done, regardless!
The main game mechanic is very intuitive and lent itself to some very nice puzzles and challenges. I especially liked the falling spike blocks! Good job!
Building simulator) nice game, was fun to play. Should extend theme with more puzzles.
Fun game, completed all of the levels. It will be cool if you add a checkpoint zone. The player will rewind to the latest checkpoint it pasted through.
This was a fun game and I was hoping somebody would do something like this! The music was calming. I really liked the areas where you couldn't rewind time, I think that was a neat mechanic. I found it hard to be able to judge how high the box can jump for when to rewind, so it took me several attempts to do some levels. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing and the rewind mechanic was well done :)
Great game , You can have fun playing but consider adding some few more things like removing only one block(so you don't need to restart all over again) or making your power to rewind limited, this adds difficult and depth. But nice job, I played only 4 levels but I liked it!
The idea is very cool, it is well applied too, I just felt a little out of control when jumping, but overall, it was a great project!
Really like the music, reminds me to PolyBridge theme, And very original game.
Super cool idea for a game! I really liked the rewind mechanic how you basically make platforms for yourself. It was really cool.
One complaint I have is that it is REALLY easy to soft-lock your game and have to reset. I'm glad the reset function is in quick reach though and the levels are small enough that it is not very annoying to deal with.
Overall it's a fun and relaxing platformer game with a surprising amount of depth despite its simple mechanics!
