In what way does your game fit the theme?
The robot is a toy that needs to REWIND when its out of winding or it cant move.
Note :
the jump is a bit weird dont know why but i am working on fixing it and will update the game once the ban is lifted
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes all of the assets and code is made by me(Except for the sound effect at the winning screen its from opengameart.org )

Sorry mate I couldn't play because of that jump.
I had fun playing. I agree that the mechanics (especially the jump) was off.
Good submission. Keep up the good work.
Please rate and play my game too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/723414
Fun and cool looking game! But the jump... frustrating! Haha I've beat the game, but the jump wasn't on point! anyway... good job I had fun beating it! :)
I like the graphics of the game. They are really cute. Sadly the jump mechanic is really weird. But except that, good job! (rated)
Pretty good, game ! I enjoyed the theme and the gameplay was well-made!
The toy setting is great. Reminds me of Toy Story and this give me nostalgia.
The controllers are a bit strange and I think a good improvement is switching the jump button. Use space, cause this way is more easy to keep going forward or backwards while still being able to jump. Other thing you might do better is finding a longer loopable music.
Good luck on your endeavours.
Toy story is where the idea came from thanks ffor the feedback
Looks nice, but the jumping is a bit strange & you sometimes just hit invisible walls. I guess these are parts of the gameplay but it would be nice to see some explanation of those in-game. Nonetheless, good job!
Good one, but too hard to control.
i like the toy setting. the only con is the jump, it look like it teleport than jumping.
yeah i dont know why that happens thanks for the feedback
also rate the game if u havent (or not :) )
For getting jump better use Force or Translate c:
Nice looking game, and good concept, but the controls made it almost unplayable, which was a bit sad, because it would have been a great game it they were better... :/
The jump could be better but overall it's a good game :)
Rated!
I like the game environment. Game design is good. But I think you need to improve controls setting. keep it up!
Hi, i've played and rated your game. It's pretty fun to play. For the next time you could use the spacebar for jumping instead of the Up Arrow and have a real jumping and not just teleporting. The jumping was a bit tricky. But still a good game. Well done.
I really like the toy environment. The game design is pretty good too, but the movement mechanics are very inconsistent and frustrating. I would just go head on into every car for the first few minutes until I got the hang of it. With some better graphics and fine tuning, this would be a great game!
I liked the toy setting, the take on the theme and the fact that there is a fast but comprehensive tutorial a lot, but there are some things you could improve. The main issue i have is that the jump doesn't feel natural at all. Since I'm guessing you are using a Rigidbody2D for the toy, one easy way to achieve a jump is to set the velocity.y component of the rigidbody to some value when you jump, and let the physics system takes care of the rest. There are also some walls that sometimes are solid and other times aren't (when you enter those brown boxes with the 2 platforms). And a minor thing, in the level selection screen the layout of the text is sorta of screwed
ok
first: thanks for the feedback
second: the jump does use velocity to add force but i dont know why its so ..weird
third: the 2 blocks are the only non collidable ones and its to help you skip some of the falling blocks part
fourth: the text gets normal when full screen
again thanks for the feedback
Ok, it is weird. Mine is a guess, since i don't know the code and the settings, but maybe it's that the velocity is way to high, so it seems like a teleport, but there is a limit to the max height a single jump can reach, so it stops and start falling
Nice game! The jump could definitely use more work because it's really hard to use and also very inconsistent, but a really neat idea and graphics!
I played it and liked the idea of the toy, however it needs some improvement, like player mouvement
Thanks for the feedback drop a rate too if u havent
I did yesturday, I just refound your game and wanted to give a feedback
Hi, I liked the idea, audio is nice. However, controls are glitchy (as already mentioned) and colliders feel quite inconsistent. Sometimes you don't expect that some platforms are not "physical", that definitely needs improvements. Also you can take any color palette for websites or something and use it for your graphics so it will be more pleasant.
Some platforms are not physical could you give some examples so i could fix it
The game is pretty fun, after you figure out that you need to select the level. The mechanic of losing health to regen your rewind is a nice choice.
I had some difficulties in the beginning, because I walked to far to the right, then the level plopped int, and thus I got stuck. The idea of a robot needing to rewind is cool, and that pared with losing health to rewind is a nice risk-reward mechanic. I liked the game, even though the music was a bit repetitive :)
