In what way does your game fit the theme?
The robot is a toy that needs to REWIND when its out of winding or it cant move.
Note :
the jump is a bit weird dont know why but i am working on fixing it and will update the game once the ban is lifted
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes all of the assets and code is made by me(Except for the sound effect at the winning screen its from opengameart.org )

Suits for the theme and has nice - looking graphics. As it's platformer you could polish (or remake) jump mechanic. I thinks it is too fast. Anyway, congrats with your first game and jam!
Also try my game: https://gisha.itch.io/quantum-rewind
i will absolutely try out ur game just a suggestion for it though u should have added a browser version too more people would play it then
good art and audio!, just need a tweaking with the movement and jump

Fun concept but jumping control is really finicky, it seems like theres a hidden jump timer with an inconstant time? (sometimes i can jump multiple times in succession, other times it takes a few seconds for it to work)
no there's no timer for jumping I don't know why that happens though
Jumping is really weird but after some time you can get used to it, maybe a little bit of polishment could make this a great game but anyway, nice work on the project!
yeah I tried a lot to polish the jumps though thus being my first game I couldn't make it very polished but it gets its work done

highly appreciated
The Gameplay is simple yet fun that fits the characteristic of a platformer game. The UI can still be improve like adding some sfx when a button is pressed. The Sound Design can also be improve by adding more sfx whenever the character interacts with some objects. Pixelated Graphics is really one of my favorites so I really like it. Overall, it is a interesting game and I hope you that my feedback will help you. :)
thanks it helped me a lot will try to implement these things next time
played and rated yours. Will you also try mine? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/719481 Thanks!
sure man
The music and the robot art are the best parts of the game, the game is a bit annoying especially the jump and the colliders... good luck next time, keep on learning
thanks for the feedback
Really good game :)
the jam is a bit awkward to use. other than that this is neat :D
thanks for the feedback could you rate it if u dont mind
already did :D
your game is really cool
Really cool game! I loved the art! :D
I like the robot, it's cute! The music also fits well, overall great game!
At first i thought the game was broken, but then everything appeared. The controls for the robot are good to handle, but the robot itself doesn't feel right. Way too hard to make it through the jump'n'run part, atleast i think so. But with more polishing and making the jump smoother this game would be pretty good. The idea with rewinding the robot and using it as some sort of health is pretty cool.
Yeah the difficulty is not optimised as i was the only play tester for the game
No problem. Gamejams exist to learn and have fun, not to make a masterpiece!
Really like the concept of ‘re-winding’ up your robot. Cute game!
thanks
Really cool game! The graphics looks awesome! ;)
Love the cute graphics and music! Really love the robot character and the music seems to complement the gameplay well!
Thanks i did all by myself ur game is amazing too
Absoloutly Good Game. ✌️✌️
wow! great game!!
did you use rigidbody for the player? if you did so for the jump you can set the rigidbody's velocity to a positive number
that is what happens
is this how the jump works? are you sure its the velocity and you aren't just moving it up?
if by moving it up u mean using the position then no I don't do that
so how did you make the jump?
(rigidbody 2d).velocity = new vector2(0, 5);
like this?
