In what way does your game fit the theme?
Charlie, our deviant detective, rewinds recorded alibis to reconstruct them into confessions.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all of the code ourselves. Many textures, models, and soundtracks were pre-made, but the rest was made during the jam.

Wonderful game. One of the best entries I've played during the jam.
I liked the whole noir style of it, the visuals are gorgeous and works pretty well with the soundtrack. The concept of having to rewind recorded confessions is very interesting and I liked it. It was also very cool that when you record the correct confession the wrong phrases are removed, leaving only the right ones.
The game is great and you have done an amazing job!
Thank you so much!
Excellent game! The visuals and the theme are very well set. The controls are nice and simple. A really good brain twister.
Thank you!
I like this concept, it started to get a bit harder with the star and that made it all the more interesting, I wonder how you could improve and expand this concept. Maybe more cats? *Meow*
Unbelievable! One of the greatest games in the jam. Good Luck!
Thank you so much!
This is really great, I love the fact that you can play as a cat. Kidding aside, this could really pass off as a commercial game on steam with its very innovative recording mechanic. Great aesthetic and sound, I really felt immersed in the game, with some subtitles this game would really feel like an interactive piece of film. This made for a really wonderful experience, looking forward to what y'all make in the future!
Thank you!
What an amazing game! You captured that Prohibition-era, hard-boiled detective vibe perfectly, right down to the font. You made the right call allowing for the recording of entire phrases at a time rather than asking the player to time it to the word; the way it plays right now never pushes beyond the frustration threshold. Once the puzzle is solved, recording it is not too tricky. I don't know how you achieved this much polish in seven days, but I applaud you and thank you for a fun experience!
Thank you! We worked pretty hard on this and are super happy with the response!
Very good game! Everything is consistent: music, graphics, fonts, SFX. The detective-game mood is perfectly implemented. Moreover, the implementation of the rewind mechanic fits as well. Finally, as an Italian, I liked very much the tutorial level ahahahah so, nothing to say but "bravi" ;) Capish?!!
Grazie mille! My manager is Italian, so I had to do the accent justice!
Five stars for cat mode!! But seriously, this is a super cool game with a really interesting take on the theme, and it totally looks like a high-quality full game, not a game jam entry that was made in only a week! The controls took me a while to get used to, but once I figured out that you can just record phrases as you play through the whole thing, it made a lot more sense. Great job on this game!!
thank you! Cat mode ftw!
The art, interface and aesthetics are consistent, as well as the voice acting, feels like a game with a good sized budget than a gamejam entry.
Love the roaring 20s theme (if im not mistaken), awesome job overall, you guys should put this on Steam.
Thanks for the great review! We are considering expanding on this, fixing up some of the controls/bugs, and putting it on Steam.
This game puts me in another world. I really really like the mood of the game. When I played it I was like really in it because of the music and the voice acting. The mechanic was very simple and challenging in a way. I loved the cat mode too! Any chance you're doing another part of this?
Thanks for the kind words! We may expand on this in the future.
This game is quite amazing. Looks professional. Great job! Recording the right phrase is sometimes frustrating, especially for the shorter one word phrases. I wish I could click on the phrases to record them, though that might take away from the tape recording feeling.
