Wow this is an awesome roguelite! I'm really impressed by the amount of content that you've crammed in here, and most of it feels super well polished! The few issues I did have were pretty minor, mainly that it takes over 20 seconds of waiting between runs. That includes the cutscenes, transitions, 'get ready' message and more. This feels too long, particularly on repeat playthroughs. It would be nice if this could be sped up; perhaps only play the cutscenes when you first boot up the game? My other issue was with dead zones on controller, I kept on accidentally triggering bombs and had to move over to keyboard controls.
Otherwise, the game was incredibly solid, and I will absolutely come back to this. I managed to reach the third area, and that place looks frickin mad. I can't believe there's a total of five areas (and a boss), such a crazy amount of content! I loved the game and had heaps of fun!
Wait a heckin second, did you make this by yourself?! If so that's simply insane, I'd imagined it was made by a full team of five or so.

Awsome retro game, fully polished and fun gameplay! Music and graphics fits together perfectly. Map seems to be randomly generated everytime which was confusing for me. I expected to start at the same level 1 but it was completely different. Would be nice to play this with nintendo! Great job!

There’s a very satisfying genuineness to this game. This isn’t retro-inspired, this is a benefited late-80s console game which happens to have been made in 2020. Every aspect of the game went into creating that nostalgiac feel. Besides that, it was very fun in its own right and the settings menu build into the game world was a very cool (and inspiring) trick. Very good title. Thank you for sharing.

THIS GAME IS GREAT! The graphics and audio are awesome. It's very fun and easy to learn. Really, good job. The only point is that you could maybe increase the contrast between the enemys and other assets... i actually tried to grab a demon... xSSS

Cool game. And quite difficult . It was very hard even to get to the second level.

The hard part of this game is figuring out the controls, and what's happening on the screen, but once you get that, it's really cool and well done! Super visually pleasing and fun to play :D Very good work for a solo dev in 1 week! Good job
