Dicey dungeons meets super hot. Great fun! Got surprisingly into it! Also a great sense of humour, really enjoyed!

Loved the goofy story and I like the way you implemented risk! Similar to my project but more fleshed out tbh.

Really interesting risk reward mechanic, great work!

Healing felt a little op at times though, I feel like maybe it should heal a fixed amount or percentage of your total health.

Really fun game.

Very interesting game. Good work.

The bullet buffs or debuffs made the game really interesting. The dialogue was funny as well and made the whole experience more enjoyable. Nice work!

Love the goofy visuals on all the different fights, cool idea to have a decision making / luck based turns. Glad I could save the cat, good work!

The game has a very interesting premise, I like the gameplay, it is a perfect application of the theme, I would have liked it to have more effects and for them to be a little more balanced, but overall it is a very good game, congratulations

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I wanted to do more different effects, but decided that it would be better to focus more on polishing the visual style and animation

A very interesting game with an interesting backstory and cat lol. The mechanic is interesting and easy to understand, and the art style fits both the story and the gag of the game nicely.

Pretty cool!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad)

Very cool mechanic implementation. Easy to understand and follow with just enough decision making and risk-taking by the player. Love the super hot style art style.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, red dudes on a white background is a very effective visual

loved the dialogue, I myself am a cat person, betted on the cat being named Biscuit. I loved it!

Developer

Great idea! I should have named the cat Biscuit. Why didn't I think of that myself? :)

John wick, with an artstyle that reminded me of superhot and a unique engaging mechanic and humour that would have fit in with those spoof movies from the 80s and 90s. Great stuff dude. I wondered in the first few levels how you were going to balance that exchange mechanic and you did it so well.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the detailed review. I'm glad you liked this game. Yes, the reference to John Wick is quite obvious. That's why I specifically made the game about saving a cat, not a dog :)

Awesome Idea, was really fun :)

With a little bit of balance tuning this could made a full game, for example healing feels kind of frustrating, because it seems to heal full (I guess).

Developer

Yes, the treatment completely restores all health. I should have done only partial restoration.

Heal was funny!

Developer

I'm glad you like it )

Fun game that has a surprising amount of depth!

Developer

Thanks! I was afraid that the game mechanics were too simple

Very nice game and the style is superb. I love the "handygun" and the silouhettes. Sounds are on point, music could have been a bit more but the little loop is fitting and adds to the overall feeling. I love the mechanic and how you introduced it, but a bit more wys to interact with the result would have been nice. I did not like the games with the "healing" dice too much since it got me annoyed and it was pure chance. But then again, I risked it....

You nailed the Theme and I like your humor very much. A splendid entry!!!

Developer

Thank you for feedback. Yeah, i think healing dice should not restore full health, but only part of it.

Submitted(+1)

yes! That would be better!!

Submitted(+1)

Very cool game! I liked how the mechanic is introduced gradually, very good tutorialising, though the last two fights are pretty annoying, since you are mainly just forced to rely on winning a lot of coinflips

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah, last fights is tough. But for the first time i make HP of Boss equal 1000. And this was really impossible :)

Interesting mechanic, and very nicely presented (Although I didn't see any reference to biscuits!) I did find after a while though that each turn basically comes down to a pretty simple maths/game theory problem, and even when playing with an optimal strategy pure dumb luck could still get in the way. Perhaps some additional mechanics (like the planned upgrade/heal choice) could alleviate this.

Developer

I figured that risk it for the biscuit is an idiom, so I decided to do without the biscuit. Yes, a lot of things in the game are decided by chance. So I tried to make it shorter.

Loved the wit, gave me a good chuckle. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It was fun to make this game)
