What a lovely game. I did have issues with the tooltips not displaying when I hovered over an object but despite that it was fun to explore the ship and take care of my human.

How does the game fit the theme?
When you're taking care of a helpless human in outer space, nothing can go wrong!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Almost all art assets and all sound effects are from asset packs. There is a Credits button on the main menu with a list.

Extremely fun little game! Extremely well polished, everything felt super natural and fun to play. It was super easy to pick up despite there being no tutorial, the game teaches you how to play well enough. Very cozy and then immediately got stressful when the alarm went off, lol. The batteries and data disks being hidden around the map was a great touch. My only complaint was when i finished the game i accidentally hit space and closed out whatever the last screen was before I could even read it, whoops.
Nice art style, it feels cozy and the robot is so cute :)
Thank you Nucis, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Most of the art is by Mucho Pixels (https://www.muchopixels.com/) and the robot is by David Harrington (https://opengameart.org/content/pixel-robot).
It's a really nice game but I don't understand the reason for this aspect ratio? Do you develop the game targeting mobile devices?
Thank you for playing! Really good question!
There are two reasons:
1. As you mentioned it's a good aspect ratio for mobile, and I build most of my projects for mobile portrait mode. I feel like it's a good fit for people who don't have a lot of time to play and do so on the go, and that's an audience I would like to serve. Of course, I'd have to add some on-screen controls for this project, not sure how well that would work, but I might try.
2. I wanted the player to not be able to see very far, in order to increase the feeling of exploration and discovery. I was also hoping to get a slightly claustrophobic vibe, like I imagine you'd have on a space ship. And having the square play area helps with that, I believe. Of course, I could have put the UI on the side rather than top and bottom, but this way felt better to me.
I like the pixel art look and the gmaeplay is nice, i think the game should have a volume slider because my years kept blowing up.
Hey, honestly, the game looks really polished! I really liked how you integrated the top screen, kind of like a console, to display messages from the robot and UI information. It looks super refined. I didn’t get to play for too long, but I was surprised by many of the things I saw. I think this game has a specific audience that would love it—you might even consider continuing development!
my human kept dying and I have a collection of poop in my locker. Definitely recommend.
Thank you Malchio03! All the amazing art assets were created by other people, you can find a list using the "Credits" button on the main menu! Most of the sound effects were from the Universal Sound FX package from the unity asset store: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/audio/sound-fx/universal-sound-fx-17256
That was really fun and hectic, I felt like everything was going wrong at some point but I managed to keep my human alive. Almost perfect score from me!
Best game I've played by far. I especialy love how you have enough time in between emergencies to familiarize yourself with the enviorment. Maybe even check out some of the lore.
This game is great in every aspect, it have a very fun loop gameplay! I just miss some BGM but its a great game overall
Nice game, had a lot of fun keeping my human alive :) I found the alarm to be very panic inducing (in a good way!)
Such a well rounded game ! Amazing job on everything. Even though you didn't make the assets they fit together very nicely and make for a coherent and pleasing world. The game design is on point as well. There was always something to do while still leaving me enough time to explore and find the 2 batteries. Trading valuable inventory space for movement speed is also a cool trade off without having a boring normal speed buff.
Very well done ! 10/10
Awesome game! I was super overwhelmed at first, but the stress of figuring out what I was supposed to be doing while alarms blared at me was part of the fun!
My only pet peeve is that the robot main character's pixels look like they are a slightly different size to the background's.
Super nice ambience and management flow! I wonder if we are using the helpless human as a battery or not.. >.>
:D nice! I love the art style really cute. The audio is fitting. I think playing trough all of it can take quite a while - I do not have that time now but I put it into my collection for later nicely done!
I meddled around for 2-3 minutes only, but it seems like a very complicated game (in a good way. Maybe, I should say a deep game). lol I can even say that it scared me because of that, and I stopped playing. Seems like a good game tho. I liked it.
