simple and fun. Needs some balancing, right now it's too easy. Thanks for the game!

Wave 169 haha. Game was definitely a little too easy, but still super fun regardless. I can see this becoming a massive time sink with more enemy types and different upgrade paths for guns. Fantastic job! Best tower defense I've played for the jam yet!

The pathing is weird, sometime there is a path but the ennemies still destroy my walls.
The game is very easy, it would be better if the ennemis scale faster forcing the player to expand and build more towers.

Simple but good game. well done.

Simple but fun game, it's a bit easy though. I do wish there was more variety with the enemies and that the area expanded more often.

It's a good game. It is fun. There was a problem that the ui in the middle of the screen didn't disappear after the game started

Game seems interesting, however it seems like you can just lock yourself up in walls and the enemy can never pass? I did that and the collisions ended up glitching and the enemies got through the walls. Game definitely has potential, but felt a little bit disappointing that my first idea (which felt like the most logical idea given the tools) was actually game breaking. (I might be missing something haha) But really it's still a nice entry so gg and good luck for the future!

Developer

Sorry about that glitch, there was suppose to be an system in place that will create an path for the enemy if you completely lock yourself in but it seem like the system fail alot.

Great job on this one! I love the variety of tower upgrades, and the pacing keeps you engaged. I managed to get past wave 100, and by then, there was so much going on that my frames were really feeling it! Amazing work!

That was really cool, I like the random aspect of it. Definitely adds some replay value. somehow managed to get past wave 100 and it was starting to have a lot to think about so my frames were suffering by that point. Really cool game for 1 week, much better than what I tried to do.

Nice defense game, I was blown away by all the different options for tower upgrades, you really packed in a lot of variety with those , loved hitting fast forward to speed through levels!

I loved the concept at first, but it started feeling repetitive pretty quickly. I didn’t find much incentive to upgrade towers, I just spammed a bunch of them and hit the skip button all the way to level 70. With a bit more variety and a stronger progression system, this could really shine. Still, a solid foundation with a lot of potential.

There is something quite satisfying about skipping full speed rounds! however I found myself clicking the mouse to upgrade my troops constantly, I would have loved to see a button to use all your money into one troop or perhaps big amounts of money. For example spend in upgrades from 1000 to 1000, so if the upgrades is 987, it pays it but if it goes over 1000 it doesn't. Anyway good job on the game and the different troops design

Placing down walls and traps felt satisfying. Could use some more gameplay variety. Also I got softlocked as well (see image).

Oof, i havent playtest much on that part. The wall are suppose to be destroy to make an path for enemy but seem like it fail.

Hee-ho. Nice game

Love the icons and the tower variety.  Very cool.  Way too easy.

The tower defense mechanism is cool. It's a bit too easy,. It would be more interesting to unlock upgrade one after another. There is plenty of upgrades but they are given to us without any effort. I'm sure that if we have to earn them, and have them in small count, it will be more rewarding.

Overall great job.

Is there an end to the game? (I played til level 50).

The game is clean and also well balanced in a way that it fits a game jam. A soundtrack would be nice. It is also very cool that you added an option for customizing the controlls.

For personal interest, how have you coded the movement of the enemies? (Is it A* or using a build in solution by unity? )

I follow this tutorial for the enemy flow field pathfinding and also this game have no end beside the fact that thousand of enemy could crash the game.

Love it. Lot of content and simple but nice graphics.

Interesting game. It's simple mechanic suits it well. The simple pixel art style reminds me of fun retro games. Good work!

I really like the simple pixel art and sound of this game!  I was impressed by the amount of structures you can build, and full control rebinding is awesome!

One piece of feedback I have is I think I would put an option to show the tutorial again in the pause menu or something.  I accidentally skipped through it and couldn't get it to show up again until I refreshed the page.

Awesome job!
