How does your game fit the theme?
This game appears to be a cozy game about a cute rat eating food, which is a generally "calm" premise. However, the player's innocent actions in the game bring about catastrophic consequences, i.e. "the storm." The gameplay itself is "the calm before the storm," with the ending hinting at the resulting storm.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Apart from some imported fonts (credited in the description), all assets are from scratch, and we wrote the code ourselves

Well, I filled my belly and that's the important thing! Cute rat. Took me a while to figure out how to get to the second desk, thought I was softlocked when I fell down. It takes pretty long to get back on the desks if you fall. I loved the ending!

OMG, this game is sooo cute! The visuals are just charming! 🤩 Loved the stapler mechanic, especially that first bounce—totally hooked! Would've been cool to have a way to get back up if you missed the jump, like a chair or something. 😂 The "walk of shame" was a fun touch too, made failing feel a bit more real. Wish I could've seen the end, but overall, it was such a fun time!

I love the stapler mechanic. The very first bounce had me sold. Adding the walk of shame added some consequences to failing the jump (not that I had to take that walk or anything). Super cute!

Really enjoyed this. was very simple and the twist was pretty funny.

Looking forward to your next game!

This was a cute game! It would have been nice to be able to get back up on the desk after failing the stapler jump (maybe a chair?). I've caused irreparable damage to the economy and I have 0 regrats.

Bravo! You’ve crafted a game that is both visually stunning and incredibly fun to play. Your creativity really shines through every aspect! ;D

Fun game. The stapler jump boost is really nice idea. Also the music slapped :DD

love the art and concept but I also got stuck with the stapler trampoline—it only seemed to bounce me high enough to get back on a desk if I fell from the desk straight onto it

It looked really charming, and I wanted to play it, but I got stumped by the first stapler. I assumed I needed to use it as a trampoline, but I never got it to do more than the normal bounce. And that slowly went away. I was curious to see what else there was. I did walk over the floor to see if the stapler was a trap, but no. I did see the storm that'd come at the end though. Pity I didn't get to see the end animation. But yeah, very cute looks
