How does your game fit the theme?
I wanted to be a bit more metaphorical with the Calm Before The Storm theme. When I hear that phrase I think of the moments where you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop, and I wanted to capture that with a literal timer that no one knows what happens when it hits 0.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All with the exception of a music track, which was open source and credited.

really really liked this. characters and their dialogue are super cute as well as the visuals. especially loved the look of the tower. when i have more time i definitely wanna come back and see what happens if i let the timer tick to zero. thanks for sharing!
Very unique looking game and cute character art. I liked the way the story was flowing with just 5-6 ppl. Nothing to report as for the bugs. Felt really polished. The music was also really good.
Just want to know will something different happen if I waited 30 mins coz I am ready to :D
Kudos made a pretty unique game!!
It's slightly different, though I wouldn't say it's actually worth a replay at this point in time (Like... just telling you right now you don't get answers, if that's what you're hoping for lol)
Damn thanks for letting me know coz I would have waited 30 mins xD
This game is a masterpiece! Your creativity and attention to detail have made this an absolute joy to play. You’ve done an incredible job!
Art style is really unique, the dialogue is interesting, and the music is great. I enjoyed myself.
Very clever interpretation of theme!
Even though the game is mostly very minimalistic and text based,
it would be interesting to add visual difference to the characters to show their personalities
Maybe a scene with the truck and how Wenge repairs it.
But I can't demand a visuals from a game in a week
The crystal idea is good for skipping the time. Thanks for that
I really enjoyed this game, it has its own charm
WELL DONE!
Lovely artstyle and I love the typing sound, nice touch where the music fades away once u go away from the village. :D
WOAhhh tHE ART LOOKS very good!!! The art reminds me of something but i cant quite remember
I like everything about the game, but maybe it feels a tad bit too long for a jam? I'd like to see all that design skills in a more concise experience, this is ver polished, good work!
I love the sprite animations. That was just the first thing that impressed me. While you said you didn't write the music track yourself, I think you made a great pick. Perfectly captures this "waiting for the other shoe to drop" sensation you're after. The stories and quests are relatable, accessible, and kind of bring me back to Majora's Mask (the whole "no one knows what's about to happen" kind of thing). Super, super cool.
Sound and art are good, feels very calm, good work!
Thank you!
It was a nice game the main feedback I can give is to loop your audio properlly couse when you're playing it for this long it's really jarring and takes you out of the game compleatly, also generally long games are a terrible idea for a jam as people have a lot of games to play and this being a waiting game for one of the endings the game would be better of with some way to fast forward the time, which could also give possibilities like unique dialog based on the time or questions unlocked by time.
100% agree - I wanted to implement fast forward once everything was done but then ended up scrapping it due to time constraints, which is one of my biggest regrets that I didn't implement it sooner. Proper music looping definitely would have been good as well. Thank you for your feedback! It's very appreciated.
