How does your game fit the theme?
The game is centered on an evil hordes of monsters that come on when a storm is happening, when the player passes a round the storm calms and they can collect a chest with inside new gear.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Quite hard (maybe we are too zoomed in?), especially with the bomber from the start of the first round, I wish I could skip all the cinematics when restarting. Apart from that, it felt nice, I can tell the inspiration from Enter the Gungeon.
By the way, is there any use for the gold/donations?
there’s no use for the gold/donations, coins should have allowed you to buy items/weapons but i couldn’t finish the game in time
Still great, good job :)
It would be great if it had some sounds.
Would be nice if there was a skip button for all dialogues after I died and restarted the game.
And some UI for waves start/end. I was confused at first. I have no idea what to do after the wave ends.
Overall, it's great.
I hate the bomb.
Very solid shooter/survivors-style game. Loved the little knight dude, shooting and reloading felt great. Missed the sfx but overall great work! Congrats and good luck!
Fun game, pretty difficult.
Only real note I have is for the dialog text reveal/skip implementation. I wish pressing 'E' mid-dialog reveal would have revealed the remaining text instead of skipping forward to the next. Wanted to read faster than it was being revealed but had to choose between skipping it or reading slowly.
Great game! I did miss the sound but I understand. It was a little difficult to me and a way skip all the dialogue at once after the first death would have been welcome but overall it enjoyable and smooth!
This is a great game similar to Enter The Gungeon, and the inclusion of new weapons and different enemy types keeps things fresh. I wish the screen was zoomed out more to better react to incoming enemies and projectiles. The game looks great too, excellent work.
Its enter the gungeon but with a knight. The effects and art are great btw.
cool game about a knight shooting stuff. How is he able to shoot? I do not know, but at least it looks cool.
Wow, beautiful art, really liked it, and the gameplay was fun!
You should really keep building on it, with sounds for the actions and few more features it will be suuuper nice :D
Great game! some sounds would make it juicy
Combat/difficulty feels excellent, and the art/atmosphere is definitely on point. Hope you keep working on it, would love to play more!
I love it!! The art is great but and I love how chaotic it is. Every time I play again I get that tiny bit better. Such a good game. If you want you can also check out my game too!
Loved the game! It feels very challenging but every time I died I knew where I'd messed up. Also fits the theme and it felt great blasting the little explodey dudes.
Couple of minor bits of feedback: having to go through the intro dialogue after every death is a bit off-putting, and it would be great if pushing e to skip showed all the dialogue (as a fast reader I expected to be able to skip through and understand what was going on but the dialogue skip just jumps to the next bit of text).
What a polished looking game. Sound would've been so good I'm sure as the main gameplay loop feels impactful even without it. Other comments have mentioned the unskippable cutscene so I'm sure you know it feels bad watching it every death. The only other gripe I have is making the calm section shorter. I was just idling next to the statue waiting for the enemies to spawn. The art is great and the combat is fantastic. The things surroundings those elements need a little improvement though. Still, great game and I did have a fun time. Fantastic job!
Thank you for playing! Im really happy you enjoyed it. For some reason the pauses between rounds are way longer than i intended them to be. Combat has always been a top notch priority for me and this is a system i’ve been working on for essentially two years at this point, same goes with enemies. Everything else was put together a bit too late so it feels a bit weird, but it’s the nature of these gamejams. Thanks again for playing and commenting :)))
Awesome art and animations and the game feels good to play. Sounds would have added a lot though. Enjoyed trying it out!
The opening cut scene was pretty dope...not so dope that I'd want to watch it again every time I die but very impressive right out the gate. I think maybe your limited time would have been better spent on the practical reality of repetitive death in a rogue-like and the actual game loop part of the game . The long, involved dialogue and cutscenes seem better suited for an epic RPG where you need such devices to tell a deep and complex story and frankly a rogue-lite run and gun don't need that much exposition. What the game needs in my opinion are tools for early game survivability so the player can actually live to see what the game is all about and then you throw the bullet hell at them; there should be health pots and/or temporary shields or something popping from all these bustable objects in the environment as well as more coins and something to do with coins.
True, unfortunately i had not time to set the game up well enough to make it an ACTUAL roguelike, although it was planned. Unfortunately i had less time than i expected and it turned out like this. If i had just one day more to work on this, i would add upgrades, make potions pop out of crates, a shop and at least a boss. Thank you for playing and for your constructive comment! Greatly appreciated :)
I think you should definitely keep working on it and flesh out the gameplay as a more long term project
I really like the dynamic combat and animations! it's a pity that I die quickly and after death I have to skip the intro for a long time
I did thought of that but unfortunately i didnt have time to make a skip for the intro! Thanks for the comment :)
