How does your game fit the theme?
The threat of being boiled alive is a metaphorical storm. Therefore, all clams live in a perpetual state of being "the clam before the storm." As long as they live under human oppression, clamkind will never be truly free.
Also, it's a pun.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, art, and music was done from scratch EXCEPT for the Godot DialogueManager plugin for displaying RPG dialogue.

Loved that introduction hahah - struggled a bit with the controls at first but then got the hang of it :) great artstyle and atmosphere, thanks for creating this!!
Fun game, controls seemed a bit clunky but I am no expert on clam locomotion. I liked the art direction and execution, good work!

I think the art style is very unique and the story is also amusing on its own. The controlls are weird since it seemed like that A and D where changing the rotation of the character while W and S were not. Since rotation is possible with Q and E I think "Tank-Controlls" would be more intuitive, in other words: changing the rotation with Q and E and WASD always moves the character with respect to its rotation. Meaning if the character is facing to the right and I press W i should move to the right. I appreciate the fact that you incorporated setting, however it would be better to take the log (to the base 10) of the value on the scale so that the scaling is linear, since dB is typically a non linear unit.
Nonetheless: great Jam game, you should be proud of it!
Didn't get my clamvenge due to not being able to beat the crab's second phase. I liked the story, the humor and the mechanics! I really wish it could go full screen though, because when launching my cursor would be off-screen and remove the focus from the game window. If it wasn't for this last thing, I would've beaten that crab!
Those controls tripped me at first , but really like the concept (amazing art btw)
I really like the variety of game play with the changing controls. Animations and sprites are also great!
This is cool I love the intro adding more vibe into the game, the clam control is pretty challenging but fun.
I loved the color palette, the music and the fun narrative! I found the controls challenging, but I was impressed to see how much world you created in 7 days. Well done!
The story and art are outstanding, you did a great job making this
This was a very fun and well put together game. Artwork and sounds/music were good and I liked the death animation, I thought that was pretty cool. One thing I would say is that the game resolution and size is quite smaller so in the future make games that are resizable. Other than that, good submission!
this genuinely feels less like a game jam game and more like the demo for a full indie game. it is much harder than most of the other games I have played, but the controls are so tight and predictable that I never really got frustrated. the gameplay is super unique and I think that you can totally turn this into a bigger project
Had a great time with this one. Awesome story, and thanks for adding controller support!
shell yeah!
I absolutely love the cutscenes and overarching story. The writing was funny and characters diverse, which is amazing for a week long project. My only issue with the project was the feeling of controls. I think the water movement was alright and the land movement a little clunky, but I really wished I was able to shoot by aiming my mouse instead of having to rotate first. Felt a little like an unnecessary learning curve. Other than that though, utterly fantastic. JUSTICE FOR THE SEAFOOD
I really enjoyed the art and, the music and sound effects on this! The game was really challenging to me, but nonetheless very fun to play. Congratulations!
Art and audio were both great! Also great theming (from a fellow clamjammer aha)! Solid game!
A masterpiece. An epic tale of hardship, vengeance, and love. I was awed.
I thought the puzzle platforming was neat and the bosses were fun to fight. The story was cute too. Overall, a great game.
You guys cooked with this game, movement in particular felt great!
This name slaps, tbh. Love the artwork!
